The first-stage exam by period, with the actual time limits
We have converted the past questions from the 23rd (2014) through the 35th (2026) Certified Labor Attorney preliminary exams—13 exam administrations—into CBT format. Even after the format changed, the actual exam still allows 1 minute per question (80 questions in 80 minutes for the 1st period, 120 questions in 120 minutes for the 2nd period, and 125 questions in 125 minutes through the 32nd exam). This is not a video lecture, but a practice workbook for completing even questions with lengthy case-law passages within 1 minute.

How to Solve
Real-Test Mode
When the time limit ends, your answers are submitted automatically. The score report shows the number of correct answers, score, time taken, and whether you failed the subject cutoff for each subject, as well as the session result (passed, failed subject cutoff, or below the average score). Questions you spent 120 seconds or more on are listed separately.
Study mode
Without a time limit, the correct answer and explanation are revealed immediately when you select an option.
Notifications during solving
Displays a one-line notification when the subject changes, when half the time has elapsed, and just before time runs out. You can turn it off on the start screen.
Try Again
Redo only the questions you got wrong, or only the incorrect answers in subjects you failed, in study mode. If you grade the same session again, your previous score and the differences by subject will be shown together.
Record
Your answers in progress, remaining time, and grading records are saved in this browser. They will not carry over to other devices.

Explanation
All 2,220 questions have explanations. For law subjects, the relevant article numbers and key points from case law are cited, and each incorrect option explains exactly what is wrong. For calculation questions in business administration and economics, the solution formula is shown one line at a time.
The explanations for the law subjects use the provisions in effect on the date of the exam and compare them with the provisions currently in effect as of October 2026. For options whose conclusions have changed under the current law due to amendments made in the meantime, I added a separate note immediately below the correct answer labeled 'Legislative Amendment'. There are 92 questions in total (44 Social Insurance Law, 25 Labor Law I, and 23 Labor Law II), with more from older exam sessions (14 questions from the 23rd session, 7 from the 30th, 5 from the 34th, and 0 from the 35th). This reflects the October 2026 amendment to Article 105 of the Labor Standards Act and the Constitutional Court decision on the Teachers’ Union Act in July 2026.
The explanations were written by AI and have not yet been reviewed by an expert. Please submit any errors in the explanations as questions during class, and I will correct them.
Question 10, First Session, First Period of the 34th exam. The correct answer at the time of the exam was ④, and by current standards, statement ⑤ is also incorrect.
Things to know
The questions and answers are reproduced exactly as given in the question papers and final answer key released by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. The six questions with multiple correct answers or all-choice answers are graded according to the final answer key. For all-choice questions, any option selected is correct, while leaving it blank is incorrect.
For the four questions whose final answers appear to conflict with the provisions or theory (the 23rd exam’s Social Insurance Law question 87 and Business Administration question 118, the 34th exam’s Business Administration question 114, and the 35th exam’s Economics question 96), I noted the circumstances in the explanations.
Starting with the 33rd exam (2024), the number of questions per subject increased from 25 to 40, and the exam was divided into two sessions. For each exam round, I used that year’s exact exam format.
Since the 33rd exam, the screen results and missions are based only on the subjects for that session. Passing the first-stage exam is determined by a minimum of 40 points in each subject and an average of 60 points across all five subjects from both sessions, so passing only the first session does not mean you have passed the first stage.
You can try solving the 35th exam’s first session and second session (Introduction to Business Administration) for free.
