I was able to understand the difference between B2B and B2C product design. Also, it was helpful because I was able to get clues about various factors to consider when carrying out a project. Since it was a recording of a seminar, it didn't cover one topic in depth, but I was able to look at the overall content broadly and think about the direction of this job. I think it will definitely be helpful even if it's not a B2B job.

hello,
12-year product designer
This is Kang Younghwa 🙂

When I opened my eyes, I realized that I had already been a designer for 12 years.
As I've built a long career, I've been fortunate to have consistently worked as a problem solver, creating meaningful results and building digital products.

Group coaching conducted last December

The reason I started giving this lecture was because I had a chance to meet with 100 coaches in a short period of time over the past year.

Personally, I've had a wonderful experience helping so many people. Through coaching, I've learned that the reason I'm able to work so well as a designer is because I have a lot of tacit knowledge.

I thought it would be helpful to the industry if I expanded on this a bit and talked about the fundamentals of how we solve problems. I'm confident it will be of great help to startup workers, designers, and product managers.

In some companies, a job title called Problem Solver has emerged, and all job postings for designers or POs/PMs mention the "problem-solving process," but there aren't many lectures that specifically address what problem-solving skills are.

I hope many people will take this course, work through the self-coaching checklist, and gain greater clarity about themselves, their projects, and their products. This, in turn, will empower them to effectively solve problems.

I love my work, and I've always enjoyed it as much as possible. Looking back, it wasn't always that way. Learning the methodology on my own was sometimes difficult and challenging. I want to share what I've learned with you, and help my colleagues in the industry improve their work methods.

I'm a solo designer at a startup. The ever-changing environment and pace, coupled with the many stagnant issues within it, make it difficult to make independent decisions, and the processes necessary to create truly great products are often overlooked. In this environment, it was great to realize the fundamentals I'd been missing, and I'm truly grateful for the positive awakening.

It was a good balance, not too theoretically focused and difficult to apply, nor was it too practical and only provided practical tips, making it difficult to understand the reasons behind them .

This was incredibly helpful, as it was a conversation between B2B practitioners and practitioners. As a junior B2B designer at a small company, I often worried about whether I was doing a good job. While searching online, I came across many criteria for product designers at online shopping malls and platforms, but I was worried because they didn't quite apply to me. Now that I'm applying many of the things you pointed out to me, I feel like I'm doing a good job.

As an inexperienced designer in a company without a user research culture, I was at a loss as to what to do, but now I have a sense of direction. I've done UT a few times, but finding the right people for the job has always been a challenge. Your explanation has helped ease that burden. Thank you!

I'm building a portfolio for my B2B career. This session helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses, as I've identified my strengths and weaknesses. Based on this, I plan to identify areas I need to emphasize and improve upon, and then build my portfolio.

I was planning and improving some features of a B2B SaaS product, but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use them in my portfolio due to the lack of performance metrics. That's when I came across this course. Personally, I learned that while short-term, immediate data-based metrics like those in B2C are difficult, they're not completely useless. He also mentioned measurable efficiency, which was incredibly enlightening. I'd love to hear more. Your lectures, I think, are more understandable than lofty, pie-in-the-sky talk, and that motivates me to study more. :)

Player Knowledge and Precautions

  • It contains content that may be somewhat difficult for job seekers.

  • I expect it will be of great help to junior designers and PMs with 1-3 years of experience working on B2B products.
However, I recommend it to people with other positions or years of experience who want to build a solid foundation.
