I started my career in development as a non-major, went on to serve as a CTO at several companies, and now work as an educator. My name is Park Jae-sung. If you're looking at this course introduction, you've probably had this concern at least once.
"Do I really need to take an AWS certification course? Can't I just study on my own using free study materials available online?"
Of course, it is possible to pass even if you study on your own. However, let’s take a look at the benefits of taking this course, one by one.
You might think, “Isn’t a longer course better, and aren’t more questions better too?” However, if a course is even a little long, most students find it daunting to complete and feel overwhelmed, thinking, “When am I ever going to finish all of that?” If you search Google for “AWS SAA reviews,” you’ll find many reviews saying that they bought the course but couldn’t finish it because there were too many lessons.
As those of you who have studied development know, there is an enormous amount to learn besides certifications. Also, since an AWS certification is not a major factor that determines whether you get hired, it is important to earn it as quickly as possible while spending as little time as possible.
So I tried to create a course by carefully selecting only the essential concepts and questions that are likely to appear on the exam. I structured the course so that students can pass the AWS certification exam with the least amount of time possible. As a result, this is not a course designed to help you achieve a perfect score of 1,000 out of 1,000. It is focused on helping you pass by scoring above the passing score of 720.
That’s right. You can absolutely pass by studying with the exam dumps circulating online. I also used practice exam questions available online when studying for the AWS SAA-C03 certification!
However, many of the practice exam questions available on the market have inadequate explanations, require you to translate them because they are in English, or even contain incorrect answers. They also include many obscure questions that hardly ever appear on the exam, so studying takes a long time.
Also, the problems weren’t organized by type at all, and all sorts of jumbled-up problems were mixed together, which made studying quite difficult. The problem with this is that just as I was getting familiar with a concept I had learned while solving problems, a new concept would suddenly appear, leaving me confused and making it difficult to remember anything. As a result, I often felt like I had studied hard and solved a lot of problems, but nothing had actually stayed in my mind.
So, in this course, I tried to structure everything by reorganizing the questions by type and excluding all peripheral concepts and questions. I also tried to make learning more convenient by providing all the questions and explanations in Korean.
As I organized the expected AWS SAA-C03 exam questions and concepts, I also worried about how deeply I needed to study each concept and whether I was properly distinguishing obscure concepts from frequently tested ones. So, after organizing the concepts and questions as a first step, I decided to take the exam right away using only the concepts and questions I had studied. After taking the exam, I experienced firsthand that I could pass with a score of 810, well above the passing score of 720.
Of course, scores may vary depending on each person’s background knowledge of AWS and computer science. However, I felt that those with a basic understanding of AWS and a solid foundation in computer science could pass with just the carefully selected 163 questions.
