Lecture Introduction 📖

This Core JavaScript course examines the overall flow of core concepts that permeate all of JavaScript up to ES6. By providing easy-to-understand explanations of concepts and operating principles for topics that beginners often find most challenging , such as "this," callbacks, scope and execution contexts, prototypes, and closures , this course will provide a guide for students as they learn JavaScript in the future.

I recommend this to these people 🙋‍♀️

JavaScript developers and aspiring developers

practitioners who feel thirsty for the basics

People who have a vague understanding of the concept and lack confidence

Those who feel limited while learning JavaScript on their own

People who find JavaScript difficult and boring

Those who want to check their learning method or direction midway

Lecture Difficulty 🤓

  • The lecture proceeds under the assumption that you already know how to declare variables, loops and conditional statements, basic methods for each data type, type conversion and operators, and expressions.
  • If you are completely unfamiliar with the above, you may not get as much out of it as you think.
  • However, due to the nature of online lectures, simply listening to and seeing the material is valuable, and reviewing it when studying the relevant part in the future can be of great help.

I feel sorry and grateful that I have eaten up so much of what Mr. Jeong Jae-nam had so desperately gained.

*The content is good. However, I think it is a pity to pay for it. It would be better if it was free or less than 3,000 won. I saw that the instructor has a follow-up lecture. I think it would be appropriate for people who are satisfied with this lecture to take the follow-up lecture and pay for it. *When I read other people's posts, they said that the explanation is fast, but it is not simply that it is difficult to understand because the explanation is fast, but I think it is lacking in the technique of matching the chart and the explanation or the explanation using cases or examples. In fact, I feel stressed the whole time I listen. I have to stop and say, "What is this?"... *I listened to this lecture while reading the Insight Java book... The topics are similar. However, the nature of this lecture is ambiguous. It does not cover a wider area than Insight Java, and it does not help you understand the core concepts that were difficult to understand with Insight Java alone... When I paid for this lecture, I expected it to be just a supplementary lecture to help you understand Insight well, but I think it fell short in that role. I should have thought that it was a waste of money and time to grasp this one concept.

Great lecture It's quite different from the Java lectures I've taken so far. If most lectures start from the basics, I can say that this lecture covers the core context. Honestly, if you search for Java lectures on YouTube, you'll see a lot about variables and arrays. I recommend it because it helps students focus more on parts that they're confused about, such as callbacks and scopes, and parts that they need to think about more. In fact, since he's not a professional instructor or professor, the way he explains the lectures may seem unfamiliar. I thought it was surprisingly refreshing and good.

I can't help but agree with the statement that "If only someone had told me by poking me in the side..." I spent a lot of time studying on my own, and I want to use the time I spent to poking someone in the side. I want to give them confidence. I wanted to know why this was important while studying on my own. I was touched by the Intro in the appendix. There was a time when I studied on my own, but I gave up. Since you've been poking me in the side since the Flow lecture, I don't think I'll give up this time. Thank you.

Actually, when I listened to it when I knew nothing, I gave up halfway through. I really didn't understand it. But after getting a job and continuing to study separately, I was lost and happened to listen to it again... It was a lecture that solved the points that I had been confused about and organized them as a bonus. If there are people like me who are lost about concepts like prototype, Execute Environment, and Lexical Environment, I definitely recommend listening to it. (However, I don't recommend listening to it if you are really new to JavaScript!)
