Quick git - Learn Git/Github by selecting only the essentials
Version control is now essential knowledge for developers. Let's learn Git and Github step by step, starting with basic git commands and signing up for Github :)
🙆🏻♀ What on earth is git that most developers use? 🙆🏻♂
Git, an essential skill for developers! Developers' Instagram, GitHub!
If you have learned how to write code through programming syntax, Now you should know how to handle code too :)
🗒 Course Introduction
Git is a version control system . Oh, but it's okay. It's okay if you don't know what this version control system is yet :) I'll explain this in class~ You can think of git as a tool that meets the needs below!
I want to back up my code!
I want to collaborate with many people!
I want to revert my code to an older version?
Hmm... I want to manage my code in multiple versions. What should I do?
I want to show off my hard-earned projects to the developer community, perhaps as a portfolio!
Have you ever had concerns like the above? If so, git(github) might be a good answer :) If you understand the concepts of git through theory and get hands-on experience with it through practice , you will be able to answer the questions above naturally!
🗒 Class method
(Please refer to the orientation for details!)
1. Core-focused classes, not A to Z
This lecture does not teach you everything about Git . We will focus on the important core topics and conduct practical training, focusing on the reasons for using git .
We will guide you through the relatively secondary contents through learning materials !
2. See the theory, feel the need, and learn through practice.
This course is conducted in an alternating pattern of theory-practice-theory-practice . This is a method where you understand the necessity and legitimacy of the concept in the theory lecture and then try to practice it yourself in the practical lecture.
(1) Theory lecture
The theory part aims to understand the intuitive concepts and the necessity and legitimacy of the concepts . Additionally, we avoid classes that focus on memorizing terminology . We aim to acquire new terms through familiarity through repeated use .
(Example of a concept lecture)
(2) Practical lecture
The practical part is the process of seeing with your own eyes how what you learned in theory actually works . You can also benefit from cumulative review by revisiting all the parts covered in the concept through practice. Learn the basic commands of git, from signing up for github to collaborating, by following the practice videos :)
🙋🏻♂️ Expected questions related to the lecture
Q. How much knowledge about Git do I need? A. This course is open to anyone who doesn't know what git is :) This course was created under the assumption that you have no prior knowledge.
Q. I don't have a GitHub ID. Do I need to create one and take the course? A. You don't have to. We'll guide you through signing up for GitHub during the lecture.
Q. Is there anything I need to prepare before attending the lecture? A. Yes, you just need to install Git. Please refer to the orientation for more details!
This is truly the best lecture I've ever taken ㅠㅠ
I didn't know anything about GitHub and just skimmed through what my friends told me, but with this lecture, I'm now at a level where I can collaborate with my friends to some extent! :)
It's a lecture where you don't have to memorize anything and you have to understand it 100%, so there was no pressure and I was able to learn while practicing directly.
I really like the teacher so much that I want to take other lectures ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ
In that sense, do you have any plans for other language or service lectures?!
I really like the way you teach and the gag code(?) ㅋㅋ큐ㅠㅠㅠ I'll wait! :)
ㅎㅎㅎ Thank you so much for the great course review :) I'm so proud. This is a course review that I'll remember for a long time. Other lectures are currently being prepared. I'll post them on the notice board once they're finished~
I have JavaScript lectures posted on other platforms. If you're interested, please contact me at tegongkang@gmail.com :)
I think this is the best lecture to learn Git.
First, listen to this lecture, and then learn it while you are working at your company.
I really enjoyed the lecture!
The curriculum is well-organized, and the explanations are simple and clean, which is good. It is easy to understand because the progress is shown visually through pictures. As the introduction says, it is focused on the core, but it covers the knowledge and principles that you absolutely need to know, so there is no lack. I was frustrated because I didn't know what was going on even when I just looked at the GitHub webpage, let alone push, but thanks to this, I quickly got used to Git/GitHub. It's fun.
My job changed from SVN to Git, so I'm learning it in a hurry. It was very helpful to me that you explained the key points in a short period of time. The practical content was also shown in detail and according to the situation, which helped me understand a lot. I feel sorry because it's cheap.
I liked that you introduced places where I can get information and recommended lectures in the latter lecture. Thank you!
I am a college student majoring in computer science. However, I have never taken a Git class and have never attempted a proper project. Simple Git seemed too difficult and complicated, and now I really need to get a grip on Git, so I looked for a class and took the instructor's class. I can tell you that it was a really great choice.
The explanations are easy and fun, and when I listen to the instructor's class, I find myself understanding it without even realizing it. Thanks to the instructor, I now understand Git and I think I can use it well. Thank you so much. ㅠㅠ
For those who are thinking about GitHub classes, it's a waste of time to think about it. I really recommend this class.
Thank you for your touching review. I am also glad that it was helpful. I will continue to create helpful and good content. I hope you all succeed in everything you do.
