It's not that I didn't know programming at all, but for some reason, SQL always felt strangely vague to me. I've studied using various books, lectures, and problems over time. If I had to recommend just one course to a programming beginner, it would be this one. To be honest, I can't say this course will be easy. You might feel overwhelmed by that sense of vagueness, just as I did. This is because in SQL, the "process of table transformation" isn't visible to the eye. Although this isn't explicitly covered in the lectures, I believe it is the key to understanding SQL. If you are serious about data, I recommend finishing this course until the end, even if you have to look things up as you go. haha

I am taking this course to strengthen my capabilities because I haven't performed data analysis using SQL in practice. As I continue with the lectures, I can clearly feel the vague sense of pressure gradually disappearing. While I expect queries used in actual work to be more difficult, I believe this is an excellent course for building a solid foundation. Furthermore, it doesn't just focus on practice or writing queries; the insights on what objectives to have when approaching data from an analysis perspective are helpful in grasping the core of data analysis. These days, AI can write query syntax for you, but at a time when it is crucial to understand what the AI outputs and judge whether it is appropriate to use, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to build their fundamentals.
