This course explores the cultural and literary significance of wine as depicted in Chinese poetry across different eras. From the Han Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, we will appreciate the emotions, thoughts, and social conditions expressed by poets through wine, using original texts and translations of representative poems. Participants will experience a humanities journey to understand the evolving imagery and deep symbolism of wine within the historical context of each period.

This course systematically explores the Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Romans through eight core themes. From the sin and salvation of humanity, justification by faith, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and God's plan of salvation to the practical Christian life and the mission of the church community, you will learn both theological depth and everyday application through commentary centered on the biblical text.
