This is because, in this era of low interest rates, traditional methods such as savings accounts and real estate have limits in terms of profitability. Driven by individual investors, the KOSPI even recorded the highest index growth rate among the G20 nations in 2020.
But will all these individual investors who have entered the stock market actually make good profits? Is it easy to make a profit in a "stock market full of experts" using only internet news filled with corporate PR and uncertain information from acquaintances? Financial statements are the “real information of a company” that protects your money in the jungle-like stock market. They are the “essential information for stock investing” that allows you to distinguish "hidden gems" worth investing in from "fake information" that is dangerous to get swept up in.

However, the difference between being able to read these three pages and not is like night and day.
How do you shop? Do you buy things blindly without looking at the price, checking the quantity and quality, or searching for the lowest price? Probably not. Even for a 50,000 won item, you likely check the shipping cost and delivery time to get a ‘good deal.’ However, in stock investing, where millions of won can fluctuate easily, spending your money based solely on the ‘price (chart)’ without knowing the ‘product information’ is extremely dangerous. That said, you don’t need to know every single detail. Just like checking ‘product information’ before shopping, you can simply review the ‘financial information’ necessary for investing and apply it to your stocks. Because your money is precious, and time is always short.

I will teach you financial statements from the perspective of an ordinary office worker so that you don't get lost in unnecessarily difficult terminology. We will easily interpret and read financial statements according to priority, which can be complex and difficult to prioritize on your own. By comparing the company's status identified in the financial statements with actual stock charts, we will examine the correlations and identify what constitutes an outlier. The course is structured so that anyone can understand it, even if you don't know accounting or find numbers difficult.

How did an office worker who is not an accountant become a financial statement expert?
I encountered "financial statements" while serving as the PR Team Leader at the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The business reporters I met through my work would daily ask about the ever-changing current financial status of companies from the perspective of their readers—office workers. This naturally trained me to "provide practical information from financial statements in an easy-to-understand way," and that experience led to me giving lectures on financial statements specifically for business reporters.
Encouraged by the feedback that "even non-experts can easily understand," I began teaching financial statements through various books, media contributions, and lectures, eventually earning the nickname 'The Man Who Reads Financial Statements.' Since I was not an accounting major myself and first encountered financial statements as an office worker, I deeply understand the difficulties and questions busy professionals face. I will help resolve your challenges from the same perspective.
