인공지능(AI), Orange3, unsupervised-learning
Data analysis and machine learning that can be done even without knowing how to code. From elementary school students to the general public, you can learn step by step from the beginning.
Basic concepts and flow of data analysis and machine learning
Easy and fun, but little-known features of Orange3
You can analyze data without coding!
"I feel dizzy just looking at Python code that implements machine learning."
"I've heard a lot about linear regression, the K-means algorithm, etc., but I don't know exactly what they are."
"I want to visualize data in a simple way, but do I need to learn coding first?"
"I want to write a good school report, but I don't have enough time to study."
"I hope the results come out quickly."
This course is for those who are curious about and want to learn machine learning but don't feel like learning a text-based programming language. You can also easily analyze data collected during study or in everyday life. You'll learn about the collection, visualization, and analysis of numerical, image, and text data, as well as the basics of machine learning theory and evaluation metrics. As a final project, you'll visualize and analyze real-world data—the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Here, one round widget is equivalent to one function.
With a simple workflow like this:
1. Load the image and embed it (extract features and convert them into numerical values that can be calculated),
2. Training is performed using kNN, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression learning algorithms.
3. You can check the learning results.
Orange3 may not be particularly aesthetically pleasing, but it offers a variety of visualization features. It can even be used with just a few drag-and-drop operations. The image below is an example of an animation showing the change in the number of confirmed cases over time.
▲ In addition to how to use the Orange3 tool, we provide detailed explanations when understanding basic concepts is needed.
▲ This is a text analysis practice. Frequently occurring words are identified in word cloud form and preprocessed.
• Orange3 data analysis tool (runs in Windows environment)
• Create a simple CSV file using Excel or Notepad
• If you have Python knowledge, you can create and use your own widgets. However, this is not covered in this lecture.
• We will proceed slowly so that you can follow the exercises step by step from the beginning.
• The Orange3 tool itself is visual, making it easy to understand.
• In areas where conceptual explanation is required, theoretical lectures have been added.
• Finally, we presented real-life application cases by analyzing COVID-19 data.
• Type: Provides some of the datasets used in the lecture.
• Serving size:
1. Linear regression practice data (train.csv, test.csv)
2. Image clustering and classification data (20 paintings by Monet and Manet and 15 paintings by other artists)
3. Text clustering and classification data (20 text files of Kennedy's speeches)
4. 1 piece of data on the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
Q. Can non-majors also take the course?
Yes. Anyone, including non-majors and those in upper elementary school, can take the course.
Q. If even elementary school students can do it, isn't the level of the lecture too low?
This means it's a tool even elementary school students can follow. The content learned will vary significantly depending on each student's ability. The more you delve into it, the more you'll be able to do.
Q. What are the benefits of learning Orange3?
You'll learn the fundamental concepts of data analysis and machine learning. Results are available within seconds or minutes, making it easy to apply across a wide range of fields.
Q. Who would you particularly recommend?
This course is especially recommended for middle and high school students who want to analyze real-world data in a variety of ways, and for teachers who want to teach AI in a way that students can easily understand. Even liberal arts majors can do data analysis. It's also highly recommended for those who find text coding intimidating.
Q. Is there anything I need to prepare before attending the lecture?
All you need is a computer, a mouse, and some passion. You can read a light introduction to machine learning principles or watch a short video.
Q. What level of content is covered in the class?
It covers everything from the principles of simple linear regression models to evaluation metrics for supervised learning, an introduction to visualization tools, and the fundamentals of image and text data processing. Even just learning the basics will yield significant results. Orange3 is simply a tool used to demonstrate your abilities.
Please note when taking the class!
Who is this course right for?
A coding idiot who is curious about data analysis and machine learning (I don't know how to code!)
People who want to see results in a short period of time
Need to know before starting?
The strength of your fingers to click the mouse and the will to try to the end.
