This is a review of the lectures and study sessions from a student who participated in the Inflearn Warming-up Club 3rd Cohort. 1. Lecture This lecture clearly explained what a PM is and what aspects a PM should focus on. Everything covered in the lecture was clear. It felt like an introduction to psychology or the principles of business administration, but ultimately, it convincingly argued based on various grounds that a PM is someone who needs to handle the tasks that someone must consider for the continuation and growth of a business. It also allowed me, as a working professional, to gain metacognition. In the first week's session, 'What a PM Does,' I was awakened, both verbally and in writing, to how easy the tasks I perform at work are. I was hit with the hard truth. Any planner or PM who feels ambiguity in their role at work should definitely take this course. The reason is that it helps people with the job title of 'planner' to grasp the direction they should ultimately move towards. We cannot realistically change our current roles or abandon our tasks. However, we come to know the direction in which we need to grow steadily and what is necessary. 2. Study Session I believe that the Inflearn Warming-up Club study schedule is well-organized, considering all students. If you are someone who can focus solely on the lectures without juggling other commitments, you can grow significantly in a short period by studying in-depth for about 4 hours a day according to the curriculum. For working professionals, the schedule is not overwhelming. However, there is a lot to think about regarding the concepts presented in the lectures, so you need to pause and reflect from time to time. Considering this, absorbing the theory alone can take 1-2 hours, so just listening to the lectures will take up your sleep time. I usually go to bed between 11 PM and 12 AM, but during the study period, I went to bed between 1 AM and 2 AM, and the time I invested in hobbies also gradually decreased. This is a human phenomenon. Due to the nature of working professionals being exhausted on weekdays, it is difficult to find the time to deeply contemplate things despite wanting to. Realistically, it was difficult to find an extra 1-2 hours of self-study, so I am making a lengthy excuse for not properly understanding the content. Therefore, I originally planned to take a data analysis course in April, but I have changed my plan to deepen the learning of the theories learned in this PM/PO course. I will write down and elaborate on cases where the theories learned over the past month can be applied to practical work. Actually, I have a lot of feedback to give to Inflearn regarding the study sessions, but it's hard to write more in this format. I would be willing to participate in an 'in-depth interview,' which was a key method taught in the lecture for understanding customers, if the opportunity arises. 3. Conclusion During the study period, I was curious about how others were studying, and the coach arranged an opportunity to meet the study group members. This is my first time participating in an external meeting related to my job, so I am excited and looking forward to it. Under the name of products, we will share knowledge on a vast range (general knowledge related to sales/marketing/development/operations) and receive a lot of inspiration from each other. It will be a truly meaningful conclusion. I would recommend this lecture to anyone who has the will to overcome weekday fatigue for a month.

I had previously received a lot of help from Minwoo's newsletter and content, so I applied for the course without hesitation. It was a lecture that greatly increased my understanding of PM/PO work and product growth, and it was the most helpful lecture I've ever taken related to my job. Since PO/PM work is more about judgment and perspective than technology and knowledge-based work, it felt very vague, but it was really helpful in setting direction and carrying out my work because you clearly shared it with a lot of insights from the field. Thank you!

I realized that the role of a product manager is not to 'launch a product' but to 'create performance through customer value and business value'. At my current company, I only worked in the [Planning -> Development -> New Project Planning (Repeat)] fashion, so it was difficult to hear customer feedback. It felt like a 3-minute plan, like a 3-minute curry. In the midst of that, I was thinking about how to collect/measure/utilize quantitative customer feedback, and I happened to listen to Minwoo's lecture. I was really impressed by the fact that you can structure indicator setting and problem discovery through a framework. It may be difficult to apply it to my current company right away, but it was a great help in setting a benchmark for the company I will transfer to and setting the direction of my work. Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge and lectures for PMs!

I have worked in startups across product, growth, data analysis, and organizational operations. Currently, I am not affiliated with a company and work independently coaching startup product organizations.

This is a lecture that I would like to hear from both POs/PMs who are just starting their careers and those who are currently working in the field as POs/PMs. Beyond simple theoretical delivery, it explains various situations and issues that can occur throughout the entire product development cycle, as well as solutions to these issues, using various cases and episodes, so I was able to gain insights that can be applied directly to the field. In particular, through the indicator setting framework introduced in the lecture, I was able to learn the framework of thinking necessary to measure and improve product growth by utilizing indicators, rather than simply defining indicators. I highly recommend this lecture to those who want to take their expertise as a PO/PM to the next level.
(Just in case readers misunderstand: It says '9% after class', but in reality, this is someone who took the class in advance through another route before opening the Inflearn lecture.) Thank you for leaving a review. I think what makes a difference in product management is how sophisticated your thinking is. In that sense, it's rewarding that you said you can learn a framework for thinking! I hope this lecture will be helpful for your future product work. :)

I have always loved Minwoo's content, and I expected this lecture to be concise and to the point. However, this lecture was more than that. It felt like it distilled down the important content. In particular, it was a lecture that clearly explained what a PM should do to create a successful product. When I shared it with my team, everyone praised it as being worth more than 10 times the tuition fee. If you are thinking about taking the lecture, don't hesitate and definitely take it!

I think there are many people who are new to PM roles or preparing to transition and do not clearly understand what role a PM is in an organization and what capabilities they need to have. I also faced similar situations and problems, and while performing PM roles that I did not even understand properly, I discovered this lecture. I have always found the product and growth-related newsletters on the site "Thinker-Practitioner" operated by the instructor to be informative, so I trusted the lectures provided and paid for them right away. The main content of the lecture that I felt was "the transfer of knowledge that serves as a foundation for becoming a capable PM who contributes to the product organization based on unique expertise." This lecture does not simply list methodologies, but makes you think about what kind of perspective and attitude you should have as a PM. While taking the lecture, I reflected on how many stupid things I have done while working on projects. I highly recommend this lecture to anyone who wants to properly perform the role of a PM and create real results!
Thank you for your review. I'm glad you subscribed to our newsletter! We will continue to strive to provide you with helpful content in the future. If you have any questions about your product work (even if it's not directly related to the lecture), please feel free to leave a question at any time. :)

I took the course because I was working as a developer at an early startup and now I am doing PM work for the first time. It was good to learn what role a PM should play at each stage of product development and operation. Since I was preparing to launch a new product while working on my first PM job, I was able to apply the lecture content by following each chapter. The lecture was also very helpful when conducting user interviews and setting up a roadmap right after the launch. I reviewed the part about Product Discovery several times in particular. I was able to structure our goals by going through the process of planning product strategies and creating opportunity solution trees with the team. Among the concepts I learned in the lecture, there were many that I have not yet applied in practice, such as using indicators and data, so I plan to refer to the lecture regularly and learn while working as a PM. I took the course with gratitude to Minwoo because it relieved the frustration I had when I first prepared to be a PM. I would like to recommend it to PMs who are just starting out like me, and I think there is enough insight to learn even if you already have experience!

"Is what I know really what I know?" I try to think critically, so I often wonder if I have misunderstood or only acquired fragmentary knowledge. And when I find this part, I learn a lot. This lecture was a lecture that filled this tendency of mine so well. I think it will prevent a lot of trial and error in advance because it explains common misunderstandings and easy traps that we can easily fall into, based on Minwoo's experience. I highly recommend this lecture to those who want to expand their own way of thinking!
