There are so many reviews from non-majors who started vibe coding and built their own services, but I'm a bit embarrassed to say I'm a developer with 7 years of experience.... 😂 Yet, I couldn't properly get started with vibe coding...
Everyone and their mom has been doing vibe coding lately, so I was really interested too...
I even thought, 'Maybe I should try building a service I've always wanted to make?'
I actually had a service I wanted to build a while ago and tried starting it on my own, but I got stuck halfway through and ended up giving up haha..
I'm the type of person who can't even get started if I feel like I lack knowledge..
I'd think, to do this, I need to know this, and I need to know that…
Being a developer, I was obsessed with the idea that I had to do it properly, which made it even worse.
Even though it was just a matter of asking AI and solving things one by one,
'Shouldn't I study more first to do vibe coding properly?'
'I'm a developer, I can't just do a half-baked job, right?'
I just kept having these thoughts.
I ended up just putting it off, telling myself I should start once I have more knowledge..
Then, I saw that Grab, whom I usually follow, released a vibe coding course, which caught my interest, so I took it.
And the biggest thing I gained from taking this course was 'starting'..
I got to use Claude Code hands-on, build Tetris through vibe coding, and as the instructor explained the necessary development concepts step by step along the way, things that felt vaguely difficult started to make sense little by little!
Especially when I was listening to the lecture and realized, 'Ah, this is where I got stuck when I was trying to build a service on my own!' those moments of understanding were so much funㅠ..
I'm still in the process of finishing it, but the process of building it step by step is so much fun!
And above all, I've started challenging myself to build the service I gave up on before.
Before, I thought, 'I can't build it because I lack knowledge,' but now I feel like I've learned a bit that when I don't know something, I can just ask, look it up, and build it by solving things one by one!
The lecture itself is also really meticulous and detailed...
It doesn't just teach you how to use Claude Code; it feels like the instructor thinks about where beginners might get stuck and explains things step by step, which is great! So I think it's a course that even non-developers can easily follow.
Actually, I'd even like to recommend it to people like me who are putting off starting because they think, 'I'm a developer, so I need to do it right, which means I should study more before I start' haha
Lately, watching everyone vibe code, I couldn't help but think, 'Am I the only one falling behind?' but through this course, by actually building my own service, I've regained my interest in development and, above all, gained confidence and a sense of pride!!
If you're interested in vibe coding but haven't started yet, don't wait until you have more knowledge—just start with this course! 😊
Once you just start... Teacher Grab will teach you everything else.
Just follow along in order haha
