Data analysis is the process of predicting the future and explaining a given problem based on past data.

In addition to this lecture, we have covered 'technical analysis', which is the step of summarizing data characteristics and shapes, and 'exploratory analysis', which explores patterns, in the webinar replay series that is uploaded periodically and the [Data Understanding and Visualization Basics for Beginners] lecture, but there was no lecture on 'predictive/inferential analysis', so we are providing it this time :)

This lecture covers machine learning algorithms, one of the steps in making predictions and inferences. Many machine learning algorithms exist, but we'll examine regression analysis, the most basic yet crucial, and decision trees, which offer intuitive understanding.
