If you're just starting to learn 3D modeling, you've probably heard of rigging.
Rigging is the process of adding bones and joints to a 3D character model and controlling its motion. It is an essential process for making the character move properly.
If you've finished modeling it nicely, but when you actually move the skeleton and the joints are weird or creaky, then you can see that the rigging wasn't done properly.

When it comes to learning rigging, it can be overwhelming to know where and how to start.
This lecture was prepared for those very people. Let's take a look together.
I wrote a rigging book called "Character Setup Techniques ." It was a comprehensive compilation of the knowledge and expertise I gained while developing 3D games, and covered a wide range of topics related to rigging.
However, there have been many changes to 3ds Max recently, and while teaching students, I thought it would be better to create video lectures focusing on basic and core content rather than covering too many topics.

Q. Can I take the course even if I don't know 3ds Max?
This course assumes that you are familiar with the basic functions of 3ds Max.
Q. What level of content is covered in the class?
Rigging can be simple to use, but it's a highly challenging field when delved into. This course is intended for beginners, but those completely new to rigging may find it more intermediate or more challenging.
Q. I want to learn custom rigging using regular bones, not bipeds.
This course is an introductory rigging course, so it covers adding additional bones to a biped. It does not cover custom rigging, which is intermediate or more difficult.
Q. Do you also cover CAT?
CAT is not covered.
