Successful DX/AX Strategies – From Concepts and Case Studies to Hands-On Practice

Digital transformation (DX) and AI transformation (AX) have now become essential competitive capabilities for both companies and individuals, rather than optional choices. This course is a practical, hands-on program that systematically covers everything from the core concepts of digital transformation to real-world success and failure cases, strategy development methods, execution roadmaps, and KPI design, amid the shift beyond the era of generative AI toward the era of AI agents and Physical AI. Through a variety of domestic and international case studies, we analyze the common strategies of successful companies. The course is structured to help anyone develop a digital innovation strategy applicable to their own organization and work using the six fundamental questions of DX (WHY, WHAT, WHERE, WHO, WHEN, HOW). This is a practical DX/AX strategy course for anyone who wants to learn not just about AI technology itself, but how to leverage it, when to adopt it, and what strategies to use for implementation.

What you will gain after the course

  • A course on practical DX/AX strategies—not how to use AI: Rather than simply learning how to use ChatGPT, you will learn strategies and decision-making methods for successfully driving digital and AI transformation.

  • Centered on real-world success and failure cases: Analyze DX success and failure cases from a diverse range of companies in Korea and abroad to gain a realistic understanding of the factors behind success and the causes of failure.

  • Easy-to-understand explanations for everyone: Rather than complex IT technologies or technical jargon, concepts are explained simply and intuitively from a business perspective, allowing non-specialists to learn without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Provides immediately applicable practical frameworks: Centered on the six DX principles—WHY, WHAT, WHERE, WHO, WHEN, and HOW—it offers methods for developing strategies that can be applied to real organizations and projects.

  • From strategy to execution in one go: Rather than stopping at a simple introduction to concepts, systematically learn the entire process—from establishing a DX strategy and creating an execution roadmap to designing KPIs.

Successful DX/AX Strategy — From Concepts and Cases to Hands-On Practice

In the age of AI, why do some organizations succeed while others fail?

Artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies are changing the business landscape. However, many organizations attempt DX (digital transformation) and AX (AI transformation) but stall without achieving results. This course goes beyond understanding the concepts, aiming to help you develop strategies that can be applied directly to your organization through real-world case analysis and hands-on practice.

CHAPTER 1. Concepts and Cases — Understanding the Essence of DX/AX

We clearly organize the often-confusing concepts, from DX and data transformation to AX led by AI Agents. By comparing and analyzing failure and success cases from companies in Korea and abroad, we identify the commonalities and management know-how of organizations that successfully undergo transformation.

CHAPTER 2. The 5W1H Framework — How to Design a Strategy

WHY, WHAT, WHERE, WHO, WHEN, HOW. Structure your previously vague transformation strategy through a framework made up of six questions. You will be able to determine for yourself which tasks to start with, who will lead them, and when and how to scale them.

CHAPTER 3. Roadmap and KPI Practice — Hands-On Application

Using the frameworks you’ve learned, you will design your organization’s DX/AX roadmap and define the KPIs and Guardrails for measuring performance, along with concrete stage-by-stage Go/No-Go criteria. Finally, you will turn the strategy into action with 30-day and 90-day Action Plans.

By the end of the course, you will have this

This course does not stop at ‘understanding’ DX/AX. You will define your organization’s problems, decide what to change, and turn it into an actionable plan.

  • Problem Definition — Use WHY and WHAT to define the core problem, goals, and what needs to be transformed.

  • Execution Design — Use WHERE, WHO, WHEN, and HOW to define the initial scope, the roles of those responsible and AI, the timing of execution, and the costs, data, and technology.

  • Strategy Roadmap — Design a step-by-step execution sequence from testing → implementation → expansion → advancement.

  • Performance Management — Determine success and next steps using KPIs, Guardrails, and Go/No-Go criteria.

  • Action Plan — Turn strategy into concrete action with 30-day and 90-day action plans.

This course does not end with simply watching the lectures. You will complete your organization's DX/AX action plan.
