1. Course Introduction

This Reinforcement Learning course is the second in the "Deep Learning for All" series by Professor Sunghoon Kim of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. It precedes the Basic Machine Learning and Deep Learning courses . The course will be updated gradually, with one lecture per week.

Watching the match between AlphaGo and Lee Sedol, I've come to believe that machine learning, with sufficient data, can surpass or even surpass the intuition and decision-making abilities that humans are known to excel at. As Professor Andrew Ng has said, in this day and age, understanding and mastering machine learning effectively would be a true "superpower."

We've prepared video lectures to help more people understand machine learning and deep learning and use these powerful tools to solve their own problems. Furthermore, we've gone beyond the theoretical aspects and included practical implementations using TensorFlow, Google's recently released open-source machine learning framework. We've strived to make these machine learning and deep learning courses accessible to anyone without prior knowledge of mathematics or computer science.
