This is a next-generation content making platform presented by Nexon, a highly free content creation platform that utilizes the vast graphic resources of Nexon's popular IP, 'MapleStory'.
[Lecture Structure]
This course is designed to be easy to follow, even for beginners unfamiliar with coding and game development tools. You can learn easily by practicing the following:
It's divided into four sections, and the difficulty increases as you progress. However, it's not so difficult that it's difficult for beginners to follow.
Section 1: Basics
Explains the concepts required for screen composition and world creation in MapleStory Worlds Pro mode.
Learn how coding is used in MapleStory Worlds and learn about the API and Lua syntax provided by MapleStory Worlds.
This explains how to load external image files that are not resources provided by MapleStory Worlds and use them as Entities.
Explains how to make a monster move along a specific path without coding.
Section 2: For complete beginners
Explains how to detect chat and summon monsters at random locations.
Describes how to detect keyboard input and move the player's position.
Explains how to display a player's health on the screen and how to control the player's health.
Explains how to detect when a monster has been hit and how to control its size and attack power.
Section 3: Beginner
Explains how attacks work and how skill effects are displayed in MapleStory Worlds.
Explains how to determine the location of an entity and control its movements to make it follow me.
Explains how to check the life or death of a player and create a dialogue window with an NPC.
Section 4: Breaking the Beginner's Path
Explain how monsters drop items and how to pick them up to make them drop items.
Explains how to implement the inventory provided by MapleStory Worlds and how to equip items.
We'll cover the basic setup for launching projectiles, how to handle collision events, and how to throw projectiles to hit monsters.

기초부터 차근차근 설명해주셔서 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 각 섹션이 끝날 때 지금 배운 것에서 어떤 것을 추가로 구현해보면 좋겠다는 제안을 해주시는 점도 좋았습니다. 아쉬운 점도 몇 가지 있습니다. 우선 섹션별로 하나의 월드를 만들 수 있게 구성했으면 더 좋았겠다는 생각이 듭니다. 또한 막판으로 갈수록 상대적으로 내용이 어려운데 비해 말과 타이핑이 빨라지셔서 일시정지해야 하는 상황이 많아지는 게 아쉽습니다. 특히 마지막 강의의 경우 두 개로 나누더라도 시간 여유를 두고 설명했으면 좋았을 것 같습니다. 좋은 강의 감사합니다!
