Herdr in a Day: Multiplexer, Agent, and SSH Remote Access from Mac mini to Mobile Devices

Learn how to efficiently manage multiple AI coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, and pi, from a single screen. Starting with tmux concepts, youโ€™ll practice using Herdrโ€™s sessions, panes, plugins, and CLI to build an agent workflow that keeps your work running even when your SSH connection is interrupted. Complete the essential development environment for the Agent era in just one day.

Hello! This is Weekend Coding.

Thank you for purchasing the herdr course.

This is the software I use the most,

I released this course because Iโ€™m convinced this software will change your life.

With this ever-evolving multiplexer, Iโ€™ll share my thought process as I consider what kind of content I can create.

The Herdr team is now becoming a company.

The Herdr developer team is no longer just an open-source maintainer.

We raised $6 million in funding from a VC fund that includes YC.

v1.0 and the Imminent Flood of Massive Numbers of Agents

When the software reaches version 1.0, my course will be updated as well.

I plan to add three main features.

  • Automation via herdrโ€™s CLI and API

    • Once you write the script, it automatically splits the panes, has Agent A implement it, Agent B inspect it, and Agent C review it using its skills, so that the developer only needs to see the final code.

  • Cloud, VPS, your Mac mini

    • These days, personal assistants are becoming the norm, especially after hermes. How long are you going to sit in front of a computer writing code? That era is over. Give instructions remotely so that servers far away can do the work for you.

  • Complete a single project lightly.

    • Iโ€™m planning a hands-on project to create software that is as simple as possible yet still useful. If you have any good ideas, feel free to share them!
