It tells you which functions have changed in the new version. https://docs.cocos.com/creator/3.8/manual/en/release-notes/upgrade-guide-v3.0.html Teacher, it would be really helpful if you could create a Google Doc with at least the functions used in the lecture, showing how to upgrade them in an A -> B format, and share it with us. 😭😭

The game engines currently used in our country are Unity3D, Unreal, and Cocos2d-x.
Cocos2d-x has powerful features for creating 2D games and the advantage of being completely free, but it has had a high barrier to entry because development has to be done in C++.

As it is an all-in-one editor, it is not easy to learn from a book.

I have written several books on Cocos2d-x, but here's why I created Cocos Creator as a video tutorial.
Q. Can non-majors also take the course?
A. If you have some basic knowledge of JavaScript, you don't need any other special knowledge. This is a beginner-level course that covers almost everything. Anyone interested in game development, even beginners, can join without any pressure.
Q. Why should I learn Cocos Creator?
A. Previously, Unity3D was the only option, even though it was paid, because it was much easier than Cocos2d-x. However, Cocos Creator is now as easy to use as Unity. Plus, it's free and lets you take advantage of Cocos2d-x's powerful features.
