Claude Code with a Silicon Valley Engineer (for Developers)

Are you using AI but still typing new prompts every single time? Code is being generated, but are team-level automation and systematization still out of reach? This course is not about learning Claude Code as a "conversation tool." It is a course where you will learn how to design AI as a system using Agents, Sub-agents, Agent Teams, Memory, and Hooks.

The reason why I create lecture materials in English ☕️

Hello 😊

Thank you very much for taking the Claude Code course.

Compared to other courses, I have received a lot of feedback regarding the fact that the slides and materials in the Claude Code course are in English. I fully understand that this can feel somewhat burdensome, especially for non-majors or those who are not familiar with English.

That is why I have prepared a short video titled "The Reason Why I Create Lecture Materials in English."

In fact, I grew up in an ordinary neighborhood on the outskirts of Seoul and started my studies without any special background or connections. Although I am currently working as an engineer in Silicon Valley, looking back, one of the most important habits that changed my career was accessing and studying technology in English.

New technical documentation, open source projects, research papers, tech blogs, and even AI tools are almost always released in English first. It wasn't because I was great at English, but because I didn't avoid it and consistently exposed myself to it, which ultimately created more opportunities for me.

The reason I create my lecture materials in English is for the same reason. It’s not simply about studying English. My hope is that students will grow into developers who can naturally read official documentation and technical resources in the field beyond just these lectures, allowing them to compete in a much broader world.

It might feel a bit uncomfortable and cumbersome. However, I hope many engineers in Korea do not limit themselves to the domestic market but grow into global talents recognized anywhere in the world. And I hope my lectures can be of some small help in that process.

My thoughts are not the absolute answer. However, I hope this helps you understand why I continue to insist on using English materials 😊

ps. I will also update the Opus 4.8 video within today or tomorrow. It's very helpful when doing large tasks.
