In conclusion, this lecture changed my life. Before taking this lecture, I only learned how to code, but I didn't know much about "How to make money with coding?". Most lectures only teach how to code and ultimately end up with the instructor making money. However, listening to the insights of someone who is actually making money opened up a new world. It solved my methodological concerns about which path I should take and how I can make money. As a computer science student who dreamed of starting a business, I enjoyed reading business-related books like "The Millionaire Fastlane," but I lacked information on how to do business in the IT field, and this lecture greatly quenched that thirst. Personally, I think this lecture is one of the few "real" lectures worth millions of won in the world of fake success lectures dominated by countless success-selling scammers. Thank you for giving us the best lecture on Inflearn and the best lecture of my life. I'm also enjoying your posts on Thread.

"I heard from a colleague at work that someone made a lot of apps and made a lot of money!" I thought, "There are some amazing people in the world." That evening, I, who had just started programming, logged on to Inflearn with the dream of "learning a programming language properly this year and making the program I want to make!" But that day, I noticed an Inflearn course that I hadn't seen before. And then I naturally stopped at an ad. It was Programming Zombie's [How to make 350 personal apps and earn 7 times your salary]. Since I've always been interested in investing, I couldn't help but click. My hand naturally clicked on the ad, and it was amazing that the story I heard during the day was on Inflearn. I paid without hesitation. As a beginner in programming, I had never made anything before, so everything was just overwhelming. And if I finished it and didn't know what to do after that, I would just be in the dark. I haven't finished the course yet, but now that I've listened to about 2/3 of it, I can see a little bit of how my program will go when it's released. What I'm most grateful for to Programming Zombie is that he broke down my stupid idea that "I don't need it, so I'll just make the program and use it myself." In order to maintain and support it with affection, you need motivation, and he showed me how to keep that motivation going in an unexpected way. When I look at the content, I don’t feel like I wasted any money because the instructor gave me advice that I would never have been able to get without that 7 years of experience. Thanks to the instructor, I think I’ll be able to save money and avoid unnecessary trouble. I’m very grateful to have found a lecture that I can keep and watch over and over again, like a book that I always keep on my bookshelf, like “Basic Mathematics.” It’s a lecture that I want to watch just like a restaurant that I want to go to alone. Thank you so much for preparing such a great lecture, and I look forward to more valuable lectures and progress in the future. Thank you.

I thought, 'If I make a high-quality app, people will definitely know about it.' I thought it was about sticking to the basics, but through this course, I learned that there were many areas I didn't know about, and that launching an app is just the beginning. I vaguely felt that 'marketing' and 'advertising' were something that I was trying to solve the shortcomings of my app with money, so I felt resistant, but I realized that it was a prejudice and a very arrogant thought. I learned that I need to include the entire process of delivering my app to the people it should reach in the process. Most of the course used apps as examples, but I think it is a course that is beneficial to everyone in terms of learning how to deliver my own (tangible and intangible) products to others from a production perspective. For those who have developed apps like me, but are worried about why people don't use good things and why they don't make money, this course will give you the answer on how to deliver and show your app to customers, and For those who have just decided to make an app, I think it will be an opportunity to lay a solid foundation from the beginning on how to make your app a 'profitable' and 'well-known' app. Finally, if there are those who are worried about the somewhat burdensome price of the course, I think it would be good to think of it as an investment for better growth. You will take the first step in the process of investing, learning (whether it is a failure or a success), and growing rather than doing nothing. The content that runs through this course is the same.

I created 350 apps while sleeping only 4-5 hours a day

I'm revealing the process of achieving 7 times my salary in income!

Side income that comes in steadily every month from app development

You've probably thought about it at least once.

I also thought that if I just made good apps, the revenue would naturally follow.

But reality wasn't easy. I barely maintained less than $0.5 in daily revenue for 8 months.

After much time and countless trials and errors, I learned that there is a strategy guide for making money with apps.

After realizing that, my revenue started to steadily trend upward.

As the belief that "making money with apps is difficult" was shattered,

I realized that "if I just invest the time, I'll generate income proportional to that effort."

Recent revenue status among multiple apps

Revenue graph from one of multiple accounts

So I worked at a company for 6 years while developing personal apps on the side.

During that process, I developed around 300 apps,

As the revenue from my apps grew to 2 to 7 times my monthly salary

I have now quit my job and am able to live comfortably while creating the services I want.

Han River picnic on a weekday 1

Han River picnic on a weekday 2

Having the entire kids cafe to ourselves on a weekday

An article that summarized the related content well through an interview

Now in my 7th year of app development,

During this time, I created many apps and went through a lot of trial and error.

In that process, there was a lot of time wasted unnecessarily,

I want others to avoid these trial and error experiences, so I'm sharing the know-how and strategies I've built up

I want to share through this course.

"Why are you sharing such valuable information?"

Many people may be skeptical. "Why would you share information that makes money? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to keep it to yourself?"

I thought the same way at first.

In fact, creating this course was a big challenge for me.

Because sharing my know-how means increasing potential competitors. That's why I had a lot of concerns about whether I should create the course and whether I should release it, from the course production until right before the launch.

However, my blog

As I posted on https://soulduse.tistory.com/106, this path is lonely. There aren't many people monetizing through apps, and now I have a small hope that more people will walk the same path as me.

"What if the key elements are missing and there's no real substance?"

This is proven by 161 reviews and a 5.0 rating. If this were simply a course deceiving people with poor content, it could never have received such evaluations.

What's more important is that what I'm trying to convey is not simply a 'success formula'. This course is not the type that 'catches the fish for you' by recommending specific apps or categories. Such an approach can actually be dangerous. Because the moment a particular field becomes known for generating good revenue, countless competitors jump in and that market quickly becomes saturated. Instead, what I'm teaching you is 'how to catch fish'.

  • How to discover profitable app ideas

  • Effective monetization strategies

  • Practical marketing know-how

  • A system for creating sustainable income

  • A multi-app production system that maximizes productivity

This knowledge has true value that can be continuously utilized even as the market changes.

This course is not a course where anyone can easily earn 10 million won per month.

If you look around a bit these days, you'll see many posts and YouTube videos claiming "anyone can easily make 10 million won a month."

But isn't that strange?

The claim that anyone can easily make big money literally means there is no moat of that magnitude.

Such items may be effective before sharing the content or in the early stages, but before long, countless people will quickly copy it, and the item that makes 10 million won per month inevitably becomes meaningless.

This course cannot guarantee that you will earn 10 million won per month.

However, what you can gain from this course is clear.

If you make the content of this course your own and consistently put it into practice, I believe you can start with $1 per day in revenue and progressively reach meaningful additional income, and eventually even income that exceeds your monthly salary.

Part of the ad revenue received from Google in October 2024

Part of the advertising revenue received from Google in February 2025

If you're hesitating about the course price

The course fee may feel burdensome. But think about it for a moment. If you divide this course fee by 365 days, it's about 1,000 won per day. What I can confidently say is that if you practice what you learn through this course, earning $1 per day is definitely achievable. Ultimately, even if you only earn $1 (about 1,400 won) per day, in one year you'll gain revenue that far exceeds the course fee.

What's more important is the value of time. I've accumulated this know-how through countless trials and errors over a long period of 7 years. Through this course, you can skip all the numerous struggles and inefficient processes I went through in one go. Ultimately, this course will be an investment where you pay a cost to significantly save your precious time and energy.

Now is the time to break free from the illusion that "if you just make a good app, profits will naturally follow." The most important truth I've realized while developing countless apps is that no matter how perfectly you build an app with outstanding technical skills, if you don't know how to monetize it, you may not earn a single penny.

I'll share the countless struggles and lessons learned from developing personal apps. Leverage your precious time and energy!

"Isn't that because you're exceptional?"

I worked at companies for nearly 8 years, but I wasn't an exceptional developer. I hardly studied algorithms, and I would have struggled to even apply to companies with coding tests. If someone like me could achieve this, then those with similar or better skills than mine will be able to see results even faster.

For 6 out of the past 7 years of my journey, I lived two lives simultaneously: as an office worker and as an independent app developer. My day didn't end even after leaving work. After returning home and having a brief dinner, I would sit back down at my computer and dedicate myself to developing my personal apps.

I survived on 4-5 hours of sleep per day, pouring all my passion into app development without any weekends off. You can see evidence of this journey in my blog and GitHub commit history. With the determination to write at least one more line of code every night, I've created over 350 apps.

Through countless trials and errors and failures, I was gradually able to establish my own system for understanding which apps can survive in the market and how to efficiently generate revenue. Now, rather than simply creating many apps, I've learned how to produce stable income through a strategic and systematic approach.

I'll share with you the struggles and trial-and-error experiences I've gone through while developing countless personal apps

You'll learn the following

1. Important Mindset for Monetization

No matter how excellent your technical skills are or how well you build an app, monetizing the app is a separate issue. You'll learn what mindset you need to approach this with.

2. Monetization Methods, Marketing Methods

If you work hard to create an app but don't know how to monetize it or market it, you may not earn a single penny. Learn how to monetize and market the app you've worked hard to create.

3. Optimized Process for Creating Multiple Apps

How was I able to create 350 apps?

Learn about the system that will maximize your app productivity.

This course is currently at its lowest price.

I would like to especially emphasize that now is the time when the course price is at its lowest.

1. Continuous Course Improvement

This course will not be just one-time content, but a course that continuously develops and grows. Based on feedback from students, I will reinforce necessary content and create additional lecture videos addressing frequently asked questions.

[25.03] - Updating with various new lectures aligned with the AI era.

2. Reducing Potential Competitors

Sharing my know-how through this course could potentially increase my competitors. This could ultimately affect my revenue as well. In the same context, those who take this course will also face an increasing number of competitors over time.

Considering this reality, the course price will be gradually increased over time. This is not simply to increase revenue, but also a strategic choice to protect the potential benefits of current students. Therefore, I can say that now is the optimal opportunity to take this course at the most reasonable cost.

  • [2025. 03 - 1st Price Increase] 385,000 => 429,000

⚠ We do not offer our own course discounts, but discount events held by Inflearn may apply. ⚠

I've put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into creating substantial content. Generating income beyond your company salary through solo app development, and ultimately living the life you want. This journey that took me 7 years - you'll be able to achieve it in much less time.

Moreover, as the advancement of AI has reduced the burden on development skills, I hope this course will help you in your new challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I lack development skills... Can I really make money with apps?

  • A. The biggest misconception about app monetization is that you need 'exceptional development skills'. What I've learned from creating 350 apps is that 'strategy' is more important than 'technical skills' for successful app monetization.

Q. I know how to code, but I don't know what kind of app to make.

  • A. Don't worry! It's okay if you don't have an idea right now.

I'll show you many methods for discovering ideas in detail.

Q. Do you also teach app development methods and coding?

  • A. This course does not teach coding. There's a reason for that.

Anyone can make an app, but not just anyone can generate revenue from that app.

Let me give you an example.

    • App development knowledge can be learned for free with just a little searching on YouTube or the internet. And there are already many good quality courses available.

    • However, the know-how to actually generate revenue with that app is not easy to find anywhere

This course focuses solely on 'app monetization' and the 'productivity' needed to achieve it.

    • Monetization strategies and practical know-how

    • From app idea discovery to marketing

    • A strategy to maximize app development productivity and increase store visibility

The real challenge isn't creating the app, but generating revenue from it.

Q. Is the app mass production strategy still effective?

  • A. To get straight to the point, it's still possible if you choose the appropriate account type.

    • For Android, individual developer accounts created after November 13, 2023, are subject to the restriction that "at least 12 testers must conduct closed testing for 14 days" before app release.

    • Therefore, it has become much more difficult than before to quickly launch multiple apps with a personal account.

  • Q. So what should I do?

    • You can open it as a business-based organization account.

    • To create an organization account, you need to obtain a D-U-N-S Number and verify your Google Payments profile.

    • Once D-U-N-S verification is complete, it will be classified as an organization account and the above testing requirements will be waived.

    • This way, you can prepare for release immediately without the 12 testers and 14-day requirement.

I was able to gain a lot of insight. Thank you. If a more in-depth lecture is released for the parts that were omitted because they were too long for each field, I would be willing to repurchase it. If it's IT, it seems like a good lecture to watch regardless of the industry. I'm 80% done, so I'll go listen to the rest.

Thank you for your warm review! 😊 I'm glad that the lecture was helpful. As you said, this lecture focused on monetization strategies rather than the technical aspects of app development. I wanted to cover each topic in more depth, but some of the content had to be simplified because I focused on delivering key insights. Thank you for your interest in the advanced course in the future. We will continue to prepare content that will be of practical help to our students. I hope you will find the remaining 20% of the lectures helpful! 💪

I watched the entire lecture. First of all, thank you for the lecture. It's my habit to listen to the entire lecture and listen to the lecture again, but it was a lecture that made me think a lot. It was a lecture that gave insight to those who only looked at development to approach it in a more realistic way, and it was a lecture that personally told me in detail how to prepare and what process to prepare. From now on, I will review the lecture again and prepare. I hope to see many more lectures in the future. ^^

This is my first time teaching, so I was worried about whether I could convey the parts I wanted to convey well, but it feels like it was resolved in one go! Thank you so much. Haha. And I'm so glad that it was helpful to you! I hope you have great luck in your future app development journey. 👏👏

It contains many tips and is overall a good lecture, but the main themes covered—"build fast and test fast" and "creating an app worth $1 every day"—no longer seem to work. The reason is none other than a change in Google's policy. Now, when you create a developer account to release an Android app, conducting a closed test (recruiting 20 testers) has become mandatory, making it much more difficult to release apps than before. This means you can't just churn out apps anymore. Only apps with clear value can be released. The major premise emphasized in the lecture has been broken. The era of competing through sheer quantity has come to an end.

"If you just develop it well, you can make a lot of money with a personal app?" This stereotype, and the misconception that "if you just make a good app and release it, you'll hit the jackpot!" I broke all of that after taking this class. I realized that even the same app can make a world of difference in terms of revenue depending on how you market and advertise it. Now I've come to realize that 'selling apps' is just as important as developing apps. To be honest, when I first saw the tuition, I thought, "Isn't it a little expensive?" But after taking the whole class, I had just one thought: "This is a steal!" Precious insights and tips that you can't hear anywhere else, and realistic advice. It's not just a one-time class, but if you make it your own? I'm sure you'll be able to create 10 times, 100 times more value than the tuition. Are you considering taking the class? Don't hesitate, just trust and start. You'll think, "Oh, why didn't I take this sooner?"

It was so intense that it was among the top 3 most useful videos I have ever heard. I will definitely watch the videos that Zombie makes on Inflearn in the future. In particular, I would like to see a video that shows how to make an app from start to finish, using a server and development tools, such as a diary app or a weather forecast app, and that allows you to check the code (even if the video is short, I would be very happy. Loyal customers are always sincere. Also, as Zombie said, failure is always a necessary process, and I don't think it's possible to make something perfect from the beginning, but even so, loyal customers are sincere just by making a video, taking failure into account.) Or, if you make a video of a project that starts with nothing and makes about 100,000 won by observing it from start to finish, like the popular "Surviving on Nothing," even people who don't know what to do will be inspired just by watching the video and following it. In the past, one of my friends didn't know how to use a PC room at all, but when I took him there and showed him in detail, he started spending all his days off at the PC room. And after that, when I saw my friend sharing the tips I didn't know about, I realized that it's important to make even the smallest things specific.
