How to use and understand the basics of the Sketch app
Learn basic sketch design tools Design a mobile app! 💎
Dear aspiring designers, Nice to meet you 💁🏻♂️
Sketch
When it comes to mobile design and web design, sketching is a must for designers. It has become a lightweight yet revolutionary design tool.
Sketch isn't a particularly difficult tool. Photoshop and AI offer more complex features. It's significantly improved designers' workflow and reduced tedious repetitive tasks, saving them from overtime.
However, when looking at the results of designers working in the field, even when working with the same Sketch app, many fail to fully utilize these positive features. Despite having common elements, each screen is designed differently, often resulting in inconsistent tone and manner. While this may be due to a lack of skill or experience, the most important thing is to build a solid foundation to maintain a consistent tone and manner, and to utilize tools that help minimize mistakes.
This is my first time using a sketch app For all designers 💫
Unlike Adobe's other design tools, Sketch isn't available in Korean. Many future software releases will also be available primarily in English. But that doesn't mean it's difficult. Let's learn Sketch from the ground up!

Q&A 🤔
Q. This is my first time learning design. Will it be difficult?
This course is easy to follow even for non-design majors. If you need a basic understanding of sketching, be sure to also take the "Building Fundamentals" course.
Q. Why is it good to learn Sketch App?
The Sketch app was created, and third-party products like Adobe XD followed suit. While it's difficult to say which is better, Sketch is the pioneer of this evolution and diversity of design tools. Once you're comfortable with Sketch, all subsequent tools will become much easier to use.
Q. Is it possible to use a Windows PC?
Unfortunately, there's no Sketch for Windows. Because the program was developed by an American company, it's only available for Macs, which are primarily used overseas. For future reference, you might want to consider getting a Mac.
Q. Are there any companies in Korea that use Sketch?
Yes, it is used by most domestic companies, including Kakao, that design mobile apps.
Introducing the knowledge sharer ✔️
Hello, this is Jaeyong Lee from Yeonnam-dong .
In 2017, I wrote a book about a sketching app called "Delicious Sketch." It's a poorly written book that didn't sell as well as the time and effort I put into it, but 😢😢 While running an IT company, I was exposed to design tools, and as a designer, I enjoyed sharing the accumulated know-how I gained by completing my own designs into actual app services, and I enjoy creating even better ideas.
