Author Kang Young-hwa points out that the impact of AI is significant enough to
“rapidly redefine the definition and role of the product designer profession.”
She says she felt this

even more strongly while building apps with AI in Silicon Valley.

She warns that designers who are merely technicians who draw pretty screens
will no longer have a place to stand.

However, there are also points that are surprisingly not well known.
