What should product designers study in the age of AI? We are in an era where designers who understand business and products survive, going beyond those who just create beautiful screens. Spend two weeks reading the new book by Kang Young-hwa, a former Toss designer and current AI product builder, to learn the mindset and attitude of a product builder who understands business and products beyond screen design. This reading challenge includes a live Q&A session with the author.

I am a designer and entrepreneur with a deep interest in "ways of working" and "how to work happily."
Until 2023, I designed productivity tools for team members at Toss.
I run the Instagram account @youngkang.design and a YouTube channel.
This program is a reading completion challenge based on the book 『Surviving as a Product Designer』.
Anyone can participate for free, and just by participating, you can join Kang Young-hwa's real-time LIVE session.
Don't miss the chance to read the book, complete missions, and communicate directly with the author!
Author Kang Young-hwa points out that the impact of AI is significant enough to
“rapidly redefine the definition and role of the product designer profession.”
She says she felt this
even more strongly while building apps with AI in Silicon Valley.
She warns that designers who are merely technicians who draw pretty screens
will no longer have a place to stand.
From the business sense required for designers to
data utilization, user research methodologies, and
frameworks that can be applied immediately.
Author Kang Young-hwa, a former Toss designer and current AI product builder,
has compiled her practical records from the field into this book.
