If I were in that situation, I would also want to know whether the deprecated status simply means “no longer updated” or if it could actually cause compatibility or security problems later on. The mention of EaglerCraft may seem unrelated, but to me it reflects the same kind of concern users have whenever a once-popular tool or project starts showing signs of being outdated. I also think the post does a good job of asking the two most important follow-up questions: can it still be used, and what should replace it if not.
