📚 Jeju Coding Base Camp <From a Non-Coder to Launching a Web Service: 2021 Jeju Coding Base Camp (Django)> Lecture Review
(ft. A Liberal Arts Student's Challenge in Web Development)
Hello! I'm a liberal arts student who only knew Python and tried web development 🙋♂️
I'm a liberal arts student who was far from development. I didn't know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or even how the web works. However, I was confident in Python! I was taking the 'Python Base Camp' at Jeju Coding Base Camp and was laying the foundation with 'Jeju Coding Base Camp Code Festival: Python 100 Questions'.
The biggest appeal of this lecture is that you can experience everything about web development. You can experience the entire process of creating a web service, from HTML to CSS, JavaScript, and Django. In particular, by actually creating a Jeju Island cafe search service, I was able to experience how the content I learned in theory was applied in practice.
Jeju Coding Base Camp's lectures were a practical encyclopedia. From the front end to the back end, and even Linux environment setup and Git usage! I was able to learn everything a developer encounters in their daily life.
🌟 Tips for aspiring developers!
- Make sure to lay a solid foundation in Python basics
- Be sure to practice hands-on
- Don't panic even if you get an error (learning from errors is also a basic virtue of a developer!)
I highly recommend this to those who are new to development, especially non-majors. You can become a web developer with just one lecture!
