Simple Design Introduction - On Code Quality
Simple Design Introduction - On Code Quality
Although I am only in my second year as a developer, I have put a lot of effort into turning common logic into methods so they can be reused in multiple places whenever I build features. However, I have occasionally wondered, "Was this actually good code?" This lecture felt like an opportunity to rethink the approach to writing good (clean?) code once again.

I learned why duplicate code is problematic, what mindset to use when identifying duplicate code, and which duplicate code should be removed versus which can be left as is.

Introduction to Simple Design Lecture 3: Less is more
Introduction to Simple Design Lecture 3: Less is more
I completed everything from the meetup video to lecture 3 without missing a single one, and I think this is the most practical course that can be immediately applied to real work. You expressed in clear language what I had only vaguely felt about architecture and code quality, which was a great help. I'm also using the content from this course in AI agent instruction files like CLAUDE.md, and I can feel that the quality of the code being written has improved significantly. I hope to meet you again with another great course someday. Thank you for the excellent course.

I'm satisfied with the supplementary explanations in Lecture 1 of the Introduction.

I realized that there's a lot of missing information in the idea that code should be readable.
