The core of Electron is handling the OS using Node.js and performing IPC communication, which is what everyone wants to learn. However, this course just has you install Electron to display a shell and then spends the entire time making a React timer. Anyone planning to watch this for Electron will be in big trouble. It's worse than the "Get Started" or "Tutorial" sections on the official Electron website.
