Advantages of this course: It's not a lecture for the sake of lecturing. It only teaches the skills needed for practical work. It feels more like a developer actively working in the field rather than just an instructor. It points you toward Prisma over TypeORM, Redis, Docker, and MQs like Kafka. Other courses help you understand, but you still have to study the technologies you'll actually use at work. In that regard, this course is very helpful for practical work. Conclusion: If you're someone who's somewhat familiar with scripting languages, you can save time by taking this course. It's very helpful if you approach it thinking you're taking over a project by inheriting code implemented by a previous developer. However, if you're new to Nest.js and don't have knowledge of Docker or other surrounding technologies, you might struggle. In the case of Prisma as well, it may not work if you don't match the version.

There's a lot of just typing code without explaining the principles, so it doesn't feel very in-depth.. That's disappointing

While following along blindly can be a good method, there's a lack of explanation about things like folder structure or why the code is written this way, and many parts are glossed over hastily, so there are many situations where I have to memorize without understanding. Of course, it could be that my skills are lacking, and there may come a day when I understand "ah, that's why it was done that way" after doing many projects, but for now, the course feels a bit disappointing.

There are many practical examples, so I was able to understand naturally while following along. In particular, the project is structured around the realistic topic of commerce services, so I was able to gain insights that can be immediately applied to real-world tasks. Having only used Spring Boot, I started using Prisma and NestJS for the first time at my company, and this lecture allowed me to apply it to my work immediately. In addition to the basic functions, I was able to learn technologies that are mainly used in the field, such as pessimistic lock implementation, shopping cart optimization using Redis TTL, and EDA with Kafka. In particular, the process of implementing backend design and design patterns into actual code was explained in detail, which was a very useful lecture that allowed me to immediately apply the concepts I had only encountered in theory to the field. Thank you for the great lecture.

I've listened to the first seven lectures, and the content and curriculum are great. However, the delivery is a bit lacking. It's not a problem with pronunciation, but rather, while the instructor clearly has a lot of knowledge, the lectures aren't structured systematically, making it difficult to follow the flow. It would be better if the instructor could write a lecture scenario or script and use that as a basis for the explanations.

I'm a junior developer currently working on backend development using NestJS and TypeORM. While TypeORM had its advantages, I found more drawbacks when using it in practice. So, I looked for alternative ORMs and discovered Prisma. I wanted to study it, but it wasn't easy to find the Best Practices for using NestJS and Prisma together. Then I found this course and learned how to seamlessly integrate Prisma into NestJS. It not only covers simple Prisma implementation methods but also delves into advanced applications such as linking with Kafka and Redis, providing a substantial amount of immediately applicable knowledge for real-world use. This course is highly recommended not only for backend developers who are currently using NestJS in the field but also for those who want to learn NestJS. It covers the content needed in practice in depth, while also explaining the concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, making learning easier. If you are considering the NestJS + Prisma combination, I highly recommend taking this course!
