Lately, the weather has been cold and I've been feeling lazy, so my daily routine was just lying down as soon as I got home from work. When I first discovered this challenge, the concept felt so fresh, and I signed up on a whim thinking, "It's better than doing nothing." Before I knew it, I ended up receiving 1:1 online fitness coaching from Coach Seulgi.
Since I was the only participant, I was a bit worried at the beginning that the challenge might be canceled midway. However, it was carried out fully for 4 weeks, 3 times a week, without missing a single day!
My room was such a mess that I couldn't bring myself to turn on the camera... so I couldn't show my movements to the instructor. But even before I could wonder, "Am I doing this right?" the instructor pointed out the specific details to focus on for each movement and asked me first how each part of my body felt. Thanks to that feedback, I was able to move with confidence in my own way.
In the beginning, we used Google Meet a few times due to audio quality issues (which turned out to be because I was accessing it via mobile web). However, for the live sessions held on Inflearn, recordings were available, which was very useful for reviewing the movements I learned, and I think I'll refer back to them often in the future.
Thanks to the instructor, I was able to experience various stretching methods for different parts of the body! In particular, the hand and upper body stretches/massages were quite painful every time, making it feel like I was torturing myself... but it made me realize how much I had neglected those areas until now, so I plan to do them more often from now on.
Also, the dog that occasionally appeared during the sessions was so cute! I was happy to see it again on the last day haha.
Coach Seulgi, thank you for leading me so well so that I could complete the challenge until the end, and thank you for sticking with it too. I hope to see you again if the opportunity arises!
