Hello, I am designer Oh Seon-mi.
I studied engineering, then switched to design, and then attended design schools in Spain and Korea. As someone who was already unfamiliar with design, complex design tools were a source of intimidation. I struggled to visualize the images I envisioned, so I tried to familiarize myself with design by approaching the tools in various ways. As I gained the freedom to manipulate images, I realized that it wasn't just my hands that had improved, but my perspective had broadened.
Working on branding at a startup and working as an in-house designer on images for various fields such as museums, F&B, products, and commerce , I was able to train myself in not just "pretty design" but "design that is most suitable for various purposes."
If you're reading this, you probably have your own reasons for wanting to learn Photoshop. Maybe you want to become more skilled at manipulating images, maybe you think it'll be helpful in the future, maybe Photoshop is a basic skill these days, maybe you want to create something cool with it, maybe you need it to manage your social media accounts, maybe you want to use it in your own work.
