No matter how much I read the network book, I couldn't understand it, but through this lecture, I started to understand it. The only downside to this lecture is that I get impatient waiting for the next lecture. Please open the next lecture quickly~~

Wow, it was tough. Really, really.. It's a great lecture. I used to study networks by myself and struggled with them, but I felt like things weren't organized, but after listening to this lecture, I was able to organize my thoughts on networks well.! I have a question. I wonder if you are producing a separate lecture on network security.! I definitely want to find this and listen to the instructor's lecture. I learned a lot. Thank you.!!

The instructor's explanation is simple and easy to understand! I've studied networks before, but at the time, the explanations were difficult and there were many parts that were hard to understand, so I was worried when I bought the course, but it was really a needless worry. ㅎㅎ I recommend it to friends who want to study networks! Even concepts that I've forgotten for a long time are easily explained by the instructor, so they stick in my head. ㅎㅎ I really recommend the course!!!!

What you will gain after the course

  • You can understand communication theory and Physical, MAC, Network, and Transport Layers for configuring wired and wireless computer networks.

  • Learn how communication theory is actually applied to computer networks using the Packet Tracer program.

  • Let's build an integrated network that combines wired and wireless networks, and learn about the various protocols used in it.

  • You can learn about the protocols that make up networks in an easy-to-understand way.

Computer Science Ph.D. Dr. Netgiver will help you
build confidence in networking through theory and hands-on practice! 💪

This is the first course in the "Complete Network Mastery" roadmap.

Lecture Topic

This course covers various protocols operating in computer networks through theoretical study and immediate hands-on practice using Packet Tracer, providing not only fundamental/basic knowledge about networks but also including relevant content to enable you to directly configure and verify simple networks.

Why should I learn this?

In an environment where all devices are connected to networks like today, if you have an IT profession, you must have an understanding of networks. Computer networks are not optional, they are essential.

Why is the course access period unlimited?

We update the course content. When you enroll in the course, you have the advantage of accessing additional content without paying any extra fees. It could be networking technology, or it could be problems for skill verification.

Why I Created This Course

While studying computer networks, I found it difficult to understand how protocols are actually used when learning only through theory. Especially when handling equipment in practical work, there were times when I was at a loss about how protocols operate. So I thought it would be much better to study the theory and immediately practice the related concepts, which led me to create this course.

💡 Course Features

We explain the essential theory.
We explain only the easy and core parts in an easy-to-understand way.

• I've explained the essential parts of network theory in an easy-to-understand way.
• I've incorporated the latest technologies and excluded outdated ones that are no longer in use.
• After thoroughly explaining the principles and core concepts, we'll practice them using Packet Tracer.
• The hands-on exercises are designed to be easy and straightforward, so even beginners can follow along without difficulty.

📜 Brief Curriculum Introduction

Section 0. Preparing Packet Tracer
Acquire a Packet Tracer license, install the program, and learn how to use it.
Section 1. Introduction to Computer Networks
Learn what computer networks are and what their components consist of.
Section 2. Essential Computer Network Theory
Explore the essential theories of computer networks in detail.
Section 3. Network Configuration Using Simulation
Learn about network devices and protocols, and conduct hands-on practice.
Section 4. Integrated Network Design/Implementation/Verification
Based on everything we've studied together so far, design and implement an integrated network and verify it.

Expected Questions Q&A

Q-1. Can non-majors take this course?
A-1.
Yes. I have explained everything step by step from the beginning so that anyone can easily understand. If you encounter any difficulties while learning, please feel free to ask questions.

Q-2. What program do you use for network practice?
A-2.
We use the "Packet Tracer" program from Cisco Systems. You can obtain a license legally, and the course includes instructions on user registration.

Q-3. Will I be able to understand networking well after taking the course?
A-3.
Yes. You can directly configure and verify networks that integrate both wired and wireless connections.

This is such a great lecture! I just got a job and I'm doing network troubleshooting, but my knowledge about networks was fragmented and not smooth, so it was so hard. I've been secretly hoping that Inflearn would upload a lecture like this. I signed up for this lecture as an early bird as soon as it was uploaded, and I felt like a stream was being created through this lecture! I felt like I've grown since before I took it, combining what I learned in undergraduate lectures with the situations I've experienced in practice!!! Absolutely!! If you can give me a roadmap for networks, I'm confident I can take all the lectures!!!!!! I've taken a lot of lectures, but among the lectures I've taken through Inflearn, this is the one that I don't regret spending money on. Strong recommendation~~!!!
