Blender Geometry Node Class Part 1

This is the Geometry Node class, a procedural workflow toolset that can most powerfully utilize the free open source program Blender. We will look at the next-generation UI Geometry Node of Blender from the basic concepts through the latest version of Blender, version 4.2. We will look at the 'field', a multi-input/output function processing system that forms the core of the Geometry Node, and develop the basic physical strength to approach the Geometry Node from a linguistic perspective and develop the ability to proactively find various solutions for work progress. We invite you to the world of Geometry Node, which brings you the highest level of creative pleasure that can be experienced in computer graphics work.

What you will gain after the course

  • Understanding the Field System of Geometry Nodes

  • How to use Set Position Node

  • Working while inspecting

  • Creating a Donut Using Geometry Nodes

Why should I use geometry nodes? 🤔

Blender's next-generation UI will be revamped around the geometry node. Experience the allure of computer graphics with Blender through the geometry node, which offers a non-destructive workflow that offers unparalleled freedom for editing and modifying your work, compared to traditional destructive workflows.

In this Blender Geometry Node class series, we will explore the fundamental concepts of Blender's next-generation UI geometry node using Blender's latest version, version 4.2.

In Part 1 of Geometry Nodes, we'll explore the "field" function, a multi-input/output function processing system utilized in geometry nodes. By approaching geometry nodes from a linguistic perspective, we'll build the foundation for developing the ability to proactively find diverse solutions to work tasks. (For those new to geometry nodes, we recommend taking "Geometry Node Class Part 0" before taking this class.)

Features of this course

📌 Let's look at how data is processed in the 'field', a multi-input/output function system that is a core concept of the geometry node.

📌 We inspect what work is actually being done each time a node is added.

📌 Experience the power of a non-destructive workflow that differentiates it from the traditional destructive work method through an example of creating a procedural donut where all work is done on the geometry node.
