Learning JavaScript while making web games

In this lecture, we will practice programming using JavaScript. Let's start with the web game, the multiplication table, and then create a word game, number baseball, tic-tac-toe, a lottery machine, rock-paper-scissors, minesweeper, a card matching game, jasstone, a 2048 game, and Tetris.

I've only seen half of it, so I can't write a perfect review, but I'm so grateful that I'm leaving this review first. Originally, I studied in a cycle from HTML - CSS - JS - Node - Express - DB in Livingxx for about 3 months. And then I started looking for books on job support and intermediate JavaScript. Then I realized that I was still at the level of 'understanding' the basic grammar of JavaScript. I was quite frustrated, thinking, "I still don't know the basics.." Do I have no talent? I was about to give up, when I happened to watch Zerocho's lecture. As I learned while making many games, I definitely feel like the concepts that I had only understood to some extent are now mine. If you are learning from Lifexx and are getting started with coding, and were able to have a general context and a narrow perspective, then in Zerocho's lecture, I feel like I am learning how to cook as a chef. "Isn't there anyone who can teach me like a close friend, brother, or younger sibling?" "Why aren't my coding skills improving?" "I know it, but why can't I use it?" I think this will be a really good lecture for those who ask. Oh, one thing I regret is that I had a lot of trouble deciding which lecture to take between the ES6 2020 lecture on YouTube and this lecture, so it would be better if you clearly stated this point.

If you study a language with a general book, you can only gain knowledge about the language, but this course will teach you what you can do with JavaScript. You can study while creating actual results, so it is not boring and you can study in a fun way.

It's a good lecture that gives you a sense of accomplishment because you learn while actually creating a program.

Lecture Preview 😊

JavaScript is a language used to give commands to computers. While once limited to creating websites, it's now being used to create web apps and desktop programs. It's even used to build some apps like Instagram and Facebook. In this course, we'll learn JavaScript and practice programming. Starting with the web game multiplication table, we'll create a word chain game, number baseball, tic-tac-toe, a lottery machine, rock-paper-scissors, minesweeper, a matching card game, zasstone, 2048, and even Tetris.

The goal of this lecture 🙂

  • You will be able to understand JavaScript syntax at a glance.
  • You will be able to acquire the mindset that a 'programmer' must have.

I was worried about which one to take because other JS lectures are over 10 hours long, but thanks to the good reviews, it became easy to decide. Thank you.

This is a good lecture to listen to when you don't know what to create or how to use it after listening to the JavaScript grammar lecture.
