What you will gain after the course

  • From webtoon planning to characters, storyboards, backgrounds, coloring, and even the serialization proposal!

  • I will walk you through the specific guidelines for webtoon production one by one.

When a decent love story comes to mind while watching a drama,
when you experience something incredible that would surprise everyone,
when you imagine a cute adventure starring your cat...

In that case, do you happen to... like webtoons?

Everyone is bound to have at least one favorite webtoon in their heart.

We laugh and cry over weekly webtoon updates, and sometimes find ourselves in a state of mental breakdown over unexpected plot twists.

As you scroll down, you find yourself completely immersed in the story the author is telling.

Webtoons are actually a very good medium for delivering a 'story.'

Stories can be expanded into various formats, such as dramas and movies, without being restricted by form, and it is easy to deliver your creative work so that many people can see it.

And above all, it is a very attractive side job that you can do
on your own while balancing it with your main career.

So far, over 60 webtoons have been produced as dramas/movies!
10 webtoon-based dramas have already been confirmed for this year alone!
From character businesses to exports through translation...!

Ah, webtoon artist is a very attractive profession, but does becoming one feel like a story far removed from your own life?

But did you know?
Even if you aren't great at drawing, you can still become a webtoon artist!

In fact, the story is more important than the drawings.

If you can plan out the story in detail, you're already more than halfway there!

In fact, friends who used to draw quite a bit in their school days and scribbled comics in their notebooks say that it is difficult to complete a work because they cannot continue 'their own story.'

If you have a story in your head
and the desire to express it through drawings

It would be great if you could draw well from the start, but in reality, the standard for "drawing well" varies from person to person. Even actual webtoon artists often see the quality of their work improve after their debut with the help of others.

In the end, what matters is a realistic and specific guide on how to best start drawing webtoons.

We are going to show you exactly
what process is used to complete a work
in Artist Dolbae's studio.

A word from the author for those of you who are hesitating!

I think the word webtoon artists dislike the most is probably "talent."
I believe that rather than immense "talent," having the will to tell a story in an entertaining way is enough to get started with webtoons.

I believe that webtoons become interesting works when the person drawing them is having fun and feeling happy.
As long as you don't think of comics as something difficult, you can create them anytime.

My answer is "YES."

In reality, it would be great if you could spend a lot of time and money from the start to become a webtoon artist, but most people can't. In fact, I was one of those people who chose to major in animation because I thought it would be difficult to make a living as a "cartoonist." However, I also first started drawing webtoons "while working at a company."

Of course, it's not easy to start new work after getting off from your job. But seeing the characters and stories I imagined come to life through webtoons was so much fun that I worked on them without even realizing how tired I was. Since I did it, I'm sure you can do it too.

The answer is definitely "YES."

If you love comics and have stories you've drawn in notebooks since you were a child, or if you have a story of your own that you want to capture in even a single frame, you can certainly start.

Of course, you might not be familiar with digital drawing yet, but I have prepared many drawing tips for webtoons to help you work more comfortably.

Webtoon Course for Beginners

- Beginners who love and watch many webtoons but are unfamiliar with digital drawing

- Storytelling beginners who have tried drawing webtoons but haven't been able to finish a story to the end

- Aspiring webtoon artists who continue to draw but find it difficult to set a direction on their own

From webtoon planning to characters, storyboards, backgrounds, coloring, and even the serialization proposal!
We will guide you through the specific guidelines for webtoon production step by step.

To submit your work as an official creator to webtoon platforms like Naver or Kakao Page, you must complete at least the first three episodes of your webtoon series and prepare a serialization proposal. Therefore, unlike existing courses, Author Dolbae's class aims for the completion of three webtoon episodes plus a serialization proposal required for actual submission. This is because you must complete up to the third episode to submit it to webtoon platforms along with the proposal to gain the opportunity to debut.

In addition to this, I have packed the curriculum with time management methods for secret side-hustlers and know-how to achieve maximum efficiency with minimum time! If you complete the 13 chapter missions, your preparation for debuting as an author is complete!

With a 'joyful and light heart,' let's draw the stories in your head!
Rather than trying to be perfect from the start, approach it with the mindset of experiencing the entire process. 아이프레임

It was well organized so that I could proceed step by step from finding the materials or stories I wanted to draw, and the process of how to complete it was drawn, so it was easy to get started. I know it was a lecture that came out a few years ago, but it's still good. I realized again that drawing is not like math, where there are answers, but something to enjoy. I recommend it~~
