While theory doesn't change and can be learned just by purchasing books, this lecture is incredibly valuable for its explanations of theory and insights gained from experience. It would have taken years to understand why certain things work well in specific situations, which Young-han experienced firsthand, but I was able to learn it all within 16 hours through this lecture, which was great.

Throughout the lecture, many tables I designed in the field, as well as those designed by other developers, kept flashing through my mind. Although I don't have much development experience yet, I agree with Young-han's point that database design is the most important aspect. Because of this, I feel a sense of responsibility and pressure in my practical work, which leads me to put a lot of thought into it. When I was contemplating on my own, I felt stuck due to my lack of design experience, but I was able to learn a lot through this lecture. I will review this several times to internalize the concepts and become a developer who strives to create even better designs in the future. Thank you.

#1 in cumulative students in Korea's development field,
Kim Young-han's Practical Database

Good DB design is not a single correct answer,
but startswith the insight to make good decisions.

I love database design and application design. I've always been thinking about better designs, and I've been thinking for a long time about how to convey that process well to you. So this course was a very enjoyable time for me, and I prepared it with the desire to share even one more thing with you.

There is no single correct answer in database modeling. The choices vary depending on the situation, and ultimately, what matters is the decision you make. That's why in this lecture, rather than just showing you the results, I wanted to share the process of what considerations I went through to make my choices.

I hope this course will serve as a reliable guide to help you develop the insight needed to make design decisions in the field.

Kim Young-han's Practical Database Roadmap

This course is the third course in the Practical Database Roadmap, where you can systematically learn the essential insights and fundamentals needed for practical design through the three stages of database modeling.

📘 Roadmap Structure

📘 Roadmap Learning Guide

In the "Database Design Part.2" that you will learn later,

This course intensively covers database design patterns and practical techniques that have been validated in real-world applications.
We'll examine the essential rules you must know for modern design, and based on these, you'll learn step-by-step the patterns and techniques frequently used in practice.

That's right, KotlinJava. I hope that the next generation of developers can quickly absorb what I've felt and experienced over a long time, so they can focus on better concerns. Seeing your course review, KotlinJava, makes all the hard work I put into preparation worthwhile :) Thank you.
