A Super-Speed Introduction to Computer Vision!

From now on, we will learn computer vision technology through numerous computer vision lectures.

In this lecture, before diving into computer vision in earnest, we will provide a general introduction to the field of computer vision.

This course consists of the following four lectures.

Lecture 1: The Human Visual System

Lecture 2: What is Computer Vision?

Lecture 3: Core Challenges of Computer Vision

Lecture 4: Computer Vision Learning Direction

Human Visual System vs. Computer Visual System

From now on, we will use various computer vision technologies to enable computers to handle images like humans do. In this lecture, we will introduce what kind of field computer vision is from the computer's perspective.

Additionally, we will identify information that is difficult for computers to process but comes naturally to humans. Through this, you can understand the final task to be performed by the computer.

Introduction to the Applications of Computer Vision

This covers examples of how computer vision is utilized in the industry. Through this, you will get a sense of the services that can be developed using computer vision.

Introduction to Representative Tasks in Computer Vision

In this lecture, we will introduce the computer vision tasks we will be learning as follows.

  • Image Classification

  • Object Detection

  • Object Tracking

  • Image Segmentation

  • Image Captioning

  • Video Prediction

  • Image Generation
