There is something I feel every time I watch your videos. Even though you may not be at the very forefront of the industry right now, I always find it impressive how you work while adapting flexibly and quickly to the changing AI market. Furthermore, I personally want to emulate how you don't just keep this information and these insights to yourself, but share them candidly with those considering job searches or career changes. Lastly, thank you for releasing the live seminar content for free on Inflearn. Although it’s been a while since the video was uploaded, I’m glad I could watch it even now to learn a bit more about the current state of the industry and AI. I enjoyed the video. Thank you!

What you will gain after the course

  • Understanding the AI Era

  • Job Preparation Direction

  • Understanding of the game industry

Would you believe that all of this was created by AI?
In fact, even the game’s art was all created in just 30 minutes with a click of AI based on refined prompts.
No one may have noticed yet, but the era of the
solo indie game developer using AI for planning, art, and programming has truly arrived—x100.
If this level can already be achieved now, aren’t you even more excited to see what happens one or two years from now?

It is an incredibly exciting time, now that the art that troubled us so much is gradually being solved.
But how do you make a game fun?
Of course, people overflowing with ideas can take on the challenge of making a single-player game.
Generally speaking, however, single-player games can be more difficult than multiplayer games when it comes to achieving success.
A single-player game has to get its balance and content creation just right to be fun,
whereas in a multiplayer game, the players create the content themselves,
so if you establish the concept well, the planning can actually be much easier.
The technical difficulty does increase in return, of course, but AI is also making that much more manageable.

In the end, we come full circle and, unintentionally, the value of servers becomes even greater.

Of course, even if you have no particular interest in games,
when developing with agents, the first thing you run into is the area related to 'servers and networks.
How can you make the app I worked so hard on available for use by everyone at my company, or by my friends?

You could take the easy route and use a deployment platform like Vercel for the time being,
but as soon as the product becomes even slightly more complex, that too is merely a temporary solution.
Surprisingly, from this point on, you need broad knowledge of web servers, real-time servers, databases, cloud computing, and networks.

In [The Essentials of AI, Rookiss's Pinpoint Lessons], we determined that the value of this server/network knowledge is the next most important thing after
Claude Code,
and selected [Learning Server/Network Knowledge Naturally Through Online Game Development] as the second topic.
Starting with the concepts of web servers / WebSockets / SSE / real-time servers / serialization,
we will develop the ability to see the bigger picture through learning about networks.
We will wrap things up by adding a touch of security knowledge.
Ultimately, the goal is to create and operate a simple server with the help of AI.

Recording for this topic is scheduled to begin in the second week of May (once the Claude Code course is complete),
and while it will ultimately be released as an online course,
we will also run a challenge alongside the production process and provide live briefings and share updates on the direction over the weekends.
Challenge participants will also receive the online course, so we plan to run it with an EARLY ACCESS-like format.

Challenge registration will open this week, and we will post a detailed announcement again.
(Perhaps?) A Live Seminar will also be held over the weekend to explain the details.

(The next topic is planned to be a Seamless MMORPG project for game developers.)
(We are also considering an art production pipeline that makes 100% use of AI as a future topic.)(Ngoài ra, tôi cũng đang cân nhắc quy trình sản xuất art tận dụng 100% AI như một chủ đề trong tương lai.)

Thank you!

Introduction

I started developing games purely out of curiosity while studying hacking...
As time passed, I eventually became a game developer with 10 years of experience.
"At this rate, when will I ever make a game~?"
Starting with basic syntax that makes me sigh,
I gradually built my own game world.
And the sense of accomplishment I feel when I see so many players connecting to that world.
The more I study, the more I’m captivated by the charm of MMORPGs.
I hope you can feel the same inspiration I have felt.
