R Core Course 👨‍💻

Are you new to coding? Does programming feel unfamiliar and distant?
This course is for those who are learning coding for the first time .
The class is conducted under the assumption that the students are completely incapable of coding.

Programming language R?

Used for data analysis, statistical simulation, text mining, etc.
R is a very intuitive, easy-to-use, and versatile language.
Expand your programming skills with a low barrier to entry!

Coding for Beginners: Easy and Simple 💡

R is a very intuitive and easy to understand language.
It's a very suitable language for beginners who are learning programming for the first time.

All programming languages share structurally similar characteristics. While it might take a beginner coding 10 hours to learn Python, someone familiar with R would only need 5 hours to learn Python. In other words, because programming languages share similar characteristics, learning one will require significantly less time to learn two.

We'll help you get started with coding using R, an easy-to-use and useful programming language.
If you've ever wanted to learn programming but weren't sure which language to learn, start with this beginner's course!

Perfect for beginners,
Two key advantages of this course! ✌

1️⃣ R Programming for Beginners

I've structured this course so that even those who have never coded before can easily follow along. I believe the easy-to-understand R language will help break down the barrier to entry to programming. It's suitable for those who need R immediately, as well as those who want to learn coding. You don't have to try too hard to understand. Let's learn programming skills by following along with me. 😊

2️⃣ 100% live coding classes

This course is 100% live coding. Simply watching the lectures will never improve your skills. It's crucial to practice coding by following my code and gaining a sense of real-world coding. Just write code with me twice and you'll see a noticeable improvement in your skills. 💪

Various basic grammar and objects used in programming languages

Various programming constructs, such as the if statement, commonly used in Excel, are similarly structured in all programming languages. Learn about commonly used programming constructs such as if, if else, for, and while.

Vector, Dataframe, and List are the basic data structures.

99% of data used in R is comprised of Vectors, Dataframes, and Lists. A thorough understanding of these three objects will ensure seamless data handling in R. This article covers the characteristics, differences, and access methods of these three objects in detail.

Storing and managing data

Saving and managing data is crucial. We'll learn how to save and retrieve data we've created or processed in Excel format, as well as how to safely save and retrieve it without data loss. We'll also learn how to automatically create new folders using loops, save and manage files, and automatically retrieve only the files we want from numerous folders and files.

Frequently used functions

You'll learn about various functions that help you process data. We'll cover functions that sort values by size (sort, order), string manipulation functions (stringr, gsub, %in%), and techniques for accessing data objects and quickly applying functions (apply, sapply, tapply, lapply). You'll also learn how to create and use your own functions.

A great lecture to watch together 📚

My primary research areas are data science, reinforcement learning, and deep learning.

I am currently doing crawling and text mining as a hobby :)

I developed an app called Marong that uses crawling to collect and display only popular community posts,

I also created a restaurant recommendation app by collecting lists of famous restaurants and blog posts from across the country :) (it failed miserably..)

I am currently a PhD student researching artificial intelligence.

I even developed a restaurant recommendation app by collecting blog posts and lists of top-rated restaurants across the country :) (though it failed miserably...) Now, I am a PhD student researching artificial intelligence.

I even developed a restaurant recommendation app by collecting lists of famous restaurants and blogs from all over the country :) (It failed miserably...) Now, I am a PhD student researching artificial intelligence.
