Qwen Conference 2026

In the era of Agentic AI, where is AI development headed? Now, competitiveness lies not in using a single AI model well, but in the ability to select the right model for the task and connect AI Agents with development tools to solve real-world problems. We are releasing the presentation videos from the Qwen Conference 2026, a global AI conference hosted by Alibaba Cloud, for free. From the Qwen 2.5 Max announcement and the "Future of Reasoning" panel featuring NVIDIA and Fireworks AI, to multimodal models expanding into video and voice, and cases of AI Agents deployed in actual practice beyond mere demonstrations. Discover the direction of the Agent era as envisioned by a company that builds the entire stack—from models to infrastructure and applications.

I got a lot out of this conference. Rather than the Qwen3.7-Max announcement, the sessions covering agent memory and orchestration were actually better. I've been struggling with context management while integrating agents at work lately, and there were a few "Aha! That's how you solve it" moments, so I had to keep pausing the video to take it all in. The tracks are divided into Model, Infra, and App, so you can just pick and choose what you're interested in. I mainly focused on the Infra Forum. I felt grateful to be able to watch such high-quality content for free.

I have been developing services using ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor, and through this lecture, I was able to understand the AI Agent ecosystem that the Qwen model and Alibaba Cloud are aiming for. In particular, it was very helpful because it didn't just introduce model performance, but also covered how AI Agents operate within actual services, inference costs, infrastructure configuration, security, and the latest AI development environments like MCP. The most impressive point was the perspective that "creating a good AI service is not about using a single good model, but about designing the model, infrastructure, and operations together." I was able to broaden my perspective, which had recently been focused only on GPT and Claude, and I gained a new appreciation for the competitiveness of the open-source model Qwen. As someone who operates AI Agent services and RAG projects, I gained a lot of practical insights. Even though it was a free conference lecture, I was able to understand the latest AI trends and industrial directions all at once. I would recommend this lecture not only to developers but also to those planning AI services or preparing for a startup. I hope high-quality conference lectures like this continue to be released in the future.

The reality is that it's quite difficult to watch full videos of AI conferences like this unless you actually participate in person. Furthermore, if it's held abroad rather than in Korea, the language barrier makes it even harder to endure. I find it very impressive that this was provided for free, complete with AI dubbing, making it so easy to consume. In today's AI world, Chinese models are rapidly closing the gap with the U.S. and positioning themselves as cost-effective alternatives. I think this is a great video that allows us to indirectly experience the current reality of AI technology within China.

What you will gain after the course

  • Why agents that succeed in demonstrations fail in real-world deployment, and the strategies companies use to bridge that gap

  • From idea to testing in one week, and from cold start to global deployment in 30 days. Real-world cases of teams putting agents into practice.

  • Development directions of the latest Foundation Models, including Qwen 2.5 Max

  • Inference Infrastructure and Cost Strategies in the Era of Agents, Discussed with NVIDIA and Fireworks AI

Who is this course right for?

  • Developers who use AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor and are curious about what comes next

  • Developers who want to explore other models in a GPT and Claude-centered development environment

  • Development teams that have built agent demos but are stuck when it comes to practical implementation.

  • A team that considers everything from infrastructure and security to costs when deploying agents into production environments.

Need to know before starting?

  • It will be easier to follow along if you understand the basic concepts of AI models and API integration.

  • Experience with specific clouds or frameworks is not required.

Before Gemma, I used to use Qwen models a lot, but now (as of 2026-07), seeing not only DeepSeek but also Kimi, I've come to realize that China's development speed is incredibly fast.
