While preparing for operating systems interviews, I found that even things I knew were difficult to explain out loud ㅠ The lectures covered sample answers along with follow-up questions, which made it easy to identify the areas where I was lacking. The content wasn’t too long or drawn out, so it was also good for reviewing before an interview. I think it would be helpful for anyone preparing for an operating systems interview!!!

Since each lecture is short, it was very useful for quickly reviewing operating systems after already having studied computer science and for turning what I knew into interview-style answers. After completing Woowahan Tech Course and working as a backend engineer at several companies, I am now Jayon, working as a backend engineer and interviewer at Channel Talk. I wasn't someone who was good at interviews from the start, either. In fact, I scored near the bottom in a mock interview at Woowahan Tech Course and even had a one-on-one meeting with the CEO.
Deadlocks? I knew them. What is context switching? Of course I had reviewed it. But once I sat in the interview room, things changed.
"Please explain what virtual memory is." Up to that point, everything was fine. I went through it smoothly as I had prepared. But then the interviewer singled out one of my answers and asked, "Then how is a virtual address translated into a physical address?" and the moment they did, my mind went blank. I was sure I had seen it somewhere. I had even reviewed it. But at that moment, I had no idea what to say.
After leaving the interview and looking it up on my phone, you think, "Ah, that was it..."—the sense of emptiness is indescribable. I’m sure many of you can relate.
From then on, I started recording my interviews and reviewing them afterward. I made an error log and compared my previous answers with my current answers to the same questions. As the questions and answers I accumulated grew to over a hundred, I began to see patterns: which answers convinced interviewers and which answers invited unnecessary follow-up questions.
Only after making hundreds of mistakes like these did I realize that knowing the theory and explaining it in an interview are completely different skills. That’s why I decided to create a course focused solely on “how to answer questions.”
This is not a lecture on organizing theory. You can learn what "deadlock is" just by reading a blog. This course teaches you, "If the interviewer asks this, answer this way. Each lecture corresponds to one interview question, and we break down step by step how you should answer it.
We compare and analyze three levels of answers to the same question: Bronze → Silver → Gold. Bronze is a 50-point answer out of 100, Silver is an 80-point answer, and Gold is a 100-point answer. We show in detail why candidates receive different pass-or-fail results even when they use the same keywords.
It is structured based on actual past interview questions from large corporations and unicorn startups. It includes not only the main questions but also the follow-up questions that actually come afterward. From the main question to follow-up questions and even follow-ups to those follow-ups, the course is structured to follow the exact flow of questions in actual interviews.

I’m Jayon, a six-year developer working as a backend engineer at Channel Talk.
After completing the backend course at Woowahan Tech Course, I began my career at a small-to-medium-sized SI company. My salary was at the minimum level. When I learned operating systems in school, I memorized a lot of the material just for exams, but this course felt different because it organized everything around questions. I especially liked how it showed answers at different levels of depth, and it helped me figure out how far I needed to know each topic. I think it’s a good course to take when you’re first starting to prepare for CS interviews.

I’ve watched a lot of other computer science lectures, but this is the first time I’ve seen interview answers broken down like this.
