Course Objectives

The goal of this course is to understand .NET MAUI's animation system and be able to apply it directly to your apps.
After taking the course, you will be able to implement the following features:

  • View element's transparency (Fade), movement (Translate), rotation (Rotate), scaling (Scale) animations

  • Running multiple animations simultaneously or sequentially

  • Implementing complex transitions by creating Custom Animation

  • Easing Function (EaseIn, Bounce, Spring, etc.) for natural motion



What is .NET MAUI?

  • Multi-platform App UI: Develop Android, iOS, macOS (Mac Catalyst), Windows apps simultaneously with a single C#/.NET codebase and XAML.

  • The next generation of Xamarin.Forms, using a handler architecture instead of renderers to improve performance/customization.

  • Single Project structure (centralized management of shared assets and resources), hot reload, built-in DI, Essentials (device API) integration.


Although it's cross-platform, we will conduct testing on Android in the course.
