Hanbite React will be completely renewed on March 4th!

Hello, this is Lee Jeong-hwan 😃

It seems like the long cold spell is finally over and warm weather is coming.
As always, at the end of a tough fight, there is always a sweet result and hope!
Even if you are in a difficult situation, I hope you never give up.

Today I have some good news to share with you.

“React cut into bite-size pieces” is scheduled to be completely renewed starting next week, Monday, March 4th .
All videos will be replaced and some changes to the curriculum will also occur.

Q) Do I need to purchase a new one to watch the renewed lectures?

That's ridiculous! Of course, all existing students can watch it for free.
Because the renewal will be carried out by replacing the videos of existing lectures rather than renewing them with new lectures,
Of course, everything is provided free of charge, without the need to purchase anything new.

Q) What happens to the lecture I was listening to?

I also had a lot of concerns about this part!
There is nothing that breaks your will to learn as much as listening to the flow and then suddenly being cut off.
For a limited time (approximately 3 weeks), existing versions of the videos will also be provided separately through Vimeo so that you can take the course.
We plan to provide the original video so that you can watch it as well, so you don't have to worry too much.
We will inform you about this part again with the renewal notice!

Q) Why did you renew it?

The reason why I decided to do a complete renewal like this is
This is to improve on the bad points that many people have pointed out,
The parts you said were good were to be strengthened further,
First of all, it was something I had to do since it was a lecture that had been given so much love.

Let me introduce the specific improvements that have been made:

  • The sound quality is up and down (some parts sound like they were recorded in a cave)

    • Purchased a new set of microphones + purchased a voice correction plugin + re-recorded the entire video

  • The time allocation per chapter is not well done (there is a chapter that is as long as 58 minutes)

    • Chapter-by-chapter time redistribution (I split the clips as hard as I could!)

  • Many technologies and tools have changed in usage compared to when they were recorded.

    • We've fixed this so that version issues don't occur over time.

  • Create React App is no longer a recommended technology.

    • The curriculum has changed to use Vite.

  • It's hard to find example code for each chapter

    • Now, we provide the resulting code for each chapter (video) via GitHub.

  • It is difficult to understand the judgement

    • I bought a Wacom tablet.

Of course, I will have to get your feedback to see if everything has been improved to perfection.
However, we have continuously worked hard to make significant improvements in many areas compared to existing lectures.

We will provide more accurate information again on March 4th or 5th along with the renewal.
Thanks to all the love and interest you have given me, I was able to renew this lecture.
Thank you always 🙇‍♂

Be happy! Thank you.
