UI Design from Beginner to Advanced A to Z Using Figma
This is a "UI Design with Figma A to Z" course prepared for non-majors who have never studied design, students who are just starting to learn UX design, and job seekers in UX and UI design. Even if you don't know other tools like Photoshop at all, I'll teach you everything from basics to advanced features so you can become a UI design expert using only Figma.

2020 Design Tool Statistics Announced. "Figma Takes Overwhelming Advantage🔥"
This week we had an announcement about design tools for UX tools in 2020.
This is the result of a survey of approximately 4,100 people working in UX, UI design, and other related industries around the world .
The results are very interesting.
.
.
To conclude, compared to last year, in all areas
Figma is beating out other tools like Sketch, Invision, etc. 🔥
The results show that people are overwhelmingly using Figma in major areas such as UI design, user flow, and prototyping.
Then, let's take a look at each area. (Source: uxtools)
.
.
1. User flow, site map
This is about user flow and information design, which organizes the user's tasks according to the flow. Figma is overwhelmingly in first place. It is also impressive that Whimsical, a tool dedicated to wireframes and user flows, is ranked quite high.
.
.
2. UI Design
This is the area where you design high-fidelity prototypes, that is, outputs that are visually complete enough for the user to use. Figma is also number one in this area. What's impressive is that last year, Sketch was number one and Figma was number two, but now Figma has completely surpassed Sketch.
Below are the results for 2020. 👇 Figma is in first place.
For comparison, I've also attached the 2019 results 👇 . Sketch came in first place.
.
.
3. Prototyping
Prototyping is the stage where screen outputs from UI design or wireframes are used to make them look like they actually work for user testing. Prototyping was a battle between Sketch, InVision, and Figma until last year, but this year, Figma has completely won .
Below you can see how Figma's market share in the prototyping tools market has changed over time.
Until last year ( 👇), Invision was pretty big, but now Figma is completely overwhelming.
.
.
4. Others (design system, handoff)
In addition, there were results for design systems and handoffs (final deliverables delivered to developers). As expected, Figma... is in first place. In particular, Zeplin has always been in first place in the handoff category, but Figma has surpassed it. Since Figma is an all-in-one tool for UI design, design systems, and handoffs, I think the need to use Zeplin has decreased.
I've also attached the 2019 results 👇 for comparison. Sketch was ranked first for design system, and Zeplin was ranked first for handoff.

Some thoughts that came to mind while organizing
• Figma, which is 100% internet-based, seems to be getting much more attention than offline-based services, including Sketch.
• Figma seems powerful because it can handle UI design, prototyping, and handoff all with one tool, without having to use InVision, Zeplin, and Sketch separately.
• Since Figma can be used on Windows as well, it seems that Sketch, which is only available on Macbooks, has been pushed out in some cases.
• I think this momentum will continue in the future due to Figma’s powerful features, such as real-time online collaboration.
.
In summary, if you decided to take this class, "UI Design Using Figma, From Introduction to Practice," I would like to tell you that it was a very good choice. ^^
Well then, have a nice day everyone!
