[Notice] A new Kubernetes installation tutorial has been uploaded~! (I recommend the Kubernetes community^^)

Hello. This is Kim Tae-min ^^

The weather is getting colder. I hope everyone takes care not to catch a cold.

As the number of students taking the class increases, I often wonder, โ€œIs the lecture helpful?โ€ and โ€œAre there parts that I donโ€™t understand?โ€

And I try to think about each question as much as possible, starting with the question posed by โ€œKim Jang-hwanโ€ recently, which ultimately made me think again about the Kubernetes installation.

Because the Kubernetes lecture is different from general coding lectures in terms of its nature, setting up a practice environment can be unfamiliar. That's why beginners may encounter difficulties in setting up a practice environment. If they can't overcome this, their interest in studying may decrease significantly.

I previously uploaded an installation tutorial, but I felt it wasn't enough, so I created a video tutorial on other ways to install Kubernetes.

And since Kubernetes development is currently underway at Google, minor versions are released 2-3 times a year. At first, it seemed like it would be good to always update to the latest version in the practice materials room, but as the version was upgraded, changes occurred, causing inconvenience to those who installed that version when practicing.

So, for this lecture, I'm always going to keep the hands-on version as the current installation hands-on video. The same goes for the hands-on version for the intermediate level in the future.

Instead, we will continue to update the practice materials room with exception cases for installation methods other than the installation version (such as environments where the network cannot be bridged in VirtualBox). And if you contact us, we will think about that part together first.

And if there is anything lacking in the lecture, please let me know at any time. You can leave a review or send an email to kube.taemin@gmail.com . I will fix the content that can be supplemented right away, and if it seems like it will take a long time, I will fix it one by one over time.

Lastly, I have not been a member for long, but there is a community that I occasionally check out to get updates on Kubernetes issues and the latest news. Most of you may know it, but it is a public group on Facebook called [Kubernetes Korea Group] .

There are many people here who share really professional information, and when you ask questions about difficult parts of actual operation, experts who are operating in large companies kindly explain them to you. And sometimes they also hold offline seminars.

If you're interested in learning more about Kubernetes, I highly recommend signing up.

Then, I hope you always do well in your work! I will also work hard on making intermediate level lectures again ^^

thank you
