Location: Online (Discord + KakaoTalk group chat)
Date: 8/28~9/29 Mon/Wed/Fri (2 hours x 3 times x 5 weeks = 30 hours)

Hello, this is Rookiss!
To open an offline coding academy for children/beginners in the first half of 2024
The six-member team is busy creating a curriculum and preparing teaching materials.
(Note: The location is likely to be near Sadang Station!)
I also wanted to test the difficulty of the curriculum I created.
Aimed at true beginners with little to no coding experience.
We are recruiting for a one-time coding introductory mentorship.
We look forward to the participation of those who find self-study of coding difficult.
Curriculum Objectives:
- Learning the basics of coding through learning [Unreal Engine] and [Blueprint].
- Coding practice through Unreal UI creation and integration (C++ not covered)
How it works:
- 2 hours = 20 minutes of theory, 20 minutes of BP practice, 20 minutes of Unreal practice, 1 hour of solving practice problems.
- We plan to create various practice problems together with teaching assistants.
- We plan to observe which parts each person finds difficult when solving a problem.
** I would like to be able to see the students' screens through Discord when solving problems. **
Target Audience:
- People with little coding experience, such as non-majors, complete beginners, and children.
- People who gave up on existing blueprints or other coding classes because they were difficult.
- People in non-programmer positions (design, art) but new to basic coding and Unreal.
- People who have been putting off studying Unreal and have no reason to start.
- Someone who is confident that they can attend three times a week without fail.
characteristic:
- Compared to existing blueprint lectures, it is detailed, slow, and has many practice problems.
- The goal is to proceed slowly so that everyone can do basic coding.
- Out of the 2 hours, approximately 1 hour is spent on class and 1 hour is spent on problem solving. Questions about any part that you find difficult during problem solving are answered in real time.
Target Outcome:
- Basic UI-based game creation.
- Develop basic coding and Unreal Engine usage skills.
