I don't know much about expressions, so I've always wanted to learn about them, and I'm glad I learned about them. I think anyone who has a little experience with other coding will be able to understand them without much difficulty.

If you listen to the expressions first and then take the motion class, your application options will be much wider. It was a simple lecture, but it was fun to listen to because it was the content I really wanted to learn! I got the impression that a lot of thought was put into the lecture order, and the lecture where I studied the principles by directly approaching the simple methods promised in the aftereffects in a customized way was very helpful. I am grateful to the teacher, and I highly recommend it to those who are hesitating to take the class!

What you will gain after the course

Essential for sophisticated motion work,
AfterEffects Expression 🎬

🗒 Course Introduction

(Please note that this lecture does not provide instructor-assisted answers. )

After Effects' expression feature allows you to control the behavior and state of a composition or layer using mathematical formulas and logic. This allows you to create more automated composition structures, or create and control sophisticated numerical motion, instead of relying on traditional keyframing or manual user intervention.

PART 1

  • This course is designed for those who have never worked with expressions before, and will help you easily get started with the most basic and core content.

PART 2

  • Continuing from the previous lesson, we'll explore key functions and features used in After Effects Expressions. We'll learn how to store and use numerical values like interpolation, how to transform coordinates between compositions and layers, and how to use mathematical concepts to calculate length.
You will also see the benefits of working seamlessly between Premiere and After Effects.
