What you will learn!

  • Network

  • OSI 7 layers

  • Major Protocols

The basic skill for all developers, networking!
I'll explain it to you in an easy and friendly way 👍

Why is IT theory so difficult? 🤔

If you are new to the IT field, you will soon encounter a language barrier . Since the terms themselves are mostly English-based abbreviations, you have to memorize them rather than understand them. Even if you look at specialized books or YouTube lectures, the pictures are all abstract and it takes a lot of time to understand them. Due to the nature of the subject, you need to know the 'flow structure' to understand it, but you may have had difficulty understanding that structure.

College students, office workers, and non-majors
A network that feels difficult…

"I'm taking classes at school, but I don't know what the content is about. The textbooks are too abstract and difficult to understand. "
- Freshman computer engineering student -

"I regret not having learned the basics of networking before getting a job. I still feel like I only have a partial understanding of networking , and I want to learn it again, but I don't have enough time because of work."
- Junior Developer -

"I'm new to networking and I was surprised by the unfamiliar terminology . Studying development is fun, but there's so much to learn."
- Non-major developer job seeker -

In particular, networks are essential basic knowledge in IT fields such as web development and engineering, and security management, but even students majoring in the field and those already employed may not yet have a clear picture of networks.

A confusing network,
Learn easily with pictures !

We have organized the difficult and abstract network concepts into easy-to-learn diagrams, animations, stories, and abbreviation explanations . We have created lectures so that you can easily understand difficult and time-consuming content in a short period of time using books. Let's challenge together!

For network beginners
I prepared it carefully.

The lecture is structured to help you draw a comprehensive picture of network knowledge that you previously only vaguely knew about.

Explain with pictures

I prepared it so that it would be as easy to understand as possible through pictures. I tried my best to make it so that those who took the lectures on video editing, lesson design, fonts, picture design, etc. could easily understand the content.

We provide lesson plans

We provide PDF files of the entire syllabus for each unit so that you can conveniently take notes and study while watching the lecture, and conveniently review after class.

So that you can organize what you have learned

Each class video has a 'summary' section. Towards the end of the class, we summarize and mention the main points and key contents once again to increase the learning effect.

Learn how it works with your own eyes

The network operation process and principles are presented in an animation format. It helps you understand the content much more easily and intuitively without having to read a book for a long time.

Detailed Curriculum 📚

💡 Learn about the overall understanding of networks, the 7 layers of the OSI model, and the major protocols between each layer.

Network Overview

Before learning about the operation of each layer in earnest, we will briefly explain each layer of the OSI model and organize essential terminology.

Physical layer

Learn about the role and related content of the physical layer, the lowest layer of the OSI 7-layer model, and about hubs and repeaters, which are network devices related to the physical layer. You will also learn about the main protocol, Ethernet.

Data link layer

Learn about the role of the data link layer, the second lowest layer of the OSI seven-layer model. We also cover switches (switching hubs), which are network devices related to the data link layer.

Network layer

Learn about the role of the network layer, the third layer of the OSI seven layers. Learn about routers, network devices related to the network layer, and routing operations. Also learn about the main protocol IP.

Transport layer

Learn about the role of the transport layer, the fourth layer of the OSI seven layers. Learn about TCP, the main protocol of the transport layer, and the various controls and operations of TCP and UDP.

Application layer

Learn about the role of the application layer, which is the upper layer (presentation, session, application) of the OSI 7-layer model. Learn about the main protocols of the application layer.

Wireless LAN

Learn briefly about wireless LAN.

Created this course
I'm a developer who does art 👩‍💻

How can we easily understand complex and difficult networks? As someone who has struggled with such issues, I created this lecture. I have long thought, 'It would be great if there was someone who could easily explain networks with pictures,' and I started this lecture with the thought, 'I will become someone who can create such a lecture.'

In addition to the 'Understanding Networks with Pictures' series, you can also find news about IT-related content and lectures on our YouTube channel . The 'With Pictures' series lectures are still being prepared, so if you would like to hear more news, please subscribe.

Q&A 💬

Q. Are lecture materials provided?

Lecture notes are provided. Lecture notes are provided for every unit in PDF format, based on the lecture content.
As the title of the lecture suggests, we put a lot of effort into creating the lesson plan as ‘drawing’ is important.

Q. Is this a lecture that non-majors can also take?

Yes, even non-majors who are interested in networks can easily listen to it. We have prepared explanations with pictures to explain difficult content as much as possible, and have prepared it so that you can easily listen to it through repeated study.

Q. What are the benefits of taking this course?

Beyond understanding the network in parts, you can easily understand it through the overall picture and structure.

I took the lecture because it was something I needed and was curious about. I like that you shared the visual aids that you meticulously created to easily convey the lecture content. Since it is difficult content, I will continue to review the visual aids, but it is less burdensome to convey such a large amount of content in such a short period of time with such good materials. Thank you for providing a great lecture :)

Your voice is calm and your teaching skills are really, really good! When my college professor explained, I didn't understand so I took the lecture of the developer who does art, and it was really helpful for me to understand because he directly diagrammed it with pictures ㅠㅠㅠ Thank you so much👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I would want to buy it if it were published as a book..! I'm so grateful to the developer who does art for making this kind of lecture👏🏻 If you are interested, I recommend this lecture without hesitation!

    • Hello, Ha-eun. Thank you so much for your positive review! Many people have difficulty understanding class content when they were undergraduates. With this in mind, I will create lectures so that other difficult IT content can be easily understood with 'pictures and animations' hehe!

A completely basic lecture. A lecture suitable for college students who don't know computers. (Test) However, the lecturer's voice and the details of the explanation are a bit lacking, so it seems like it's not enough to give a deep understanding. It felt like reading a general network lecture.

The voice was so calm that it was easy to listen to, and it was also easy to understand because the explanation was done with pictures. Thanks to the artistic developer, I was able to study networks easily and quickly. I'm looking forward to the next series!! Thank you.

    • Hi, Hyochul! Thank you for your positive review. Many people don't have time, so I took animation and communication into consideration. The series of lectures is in preparation. Thank you : )
