This course is a direct lecture by the author based on the book [Doit! Kangsam's Android App Programming with Kotlin - Easy Publishing]. This course covers [Part 6 - Adding Various Features to Your App], one of eight One-Day Classes, which each section of the book is organized into a single course. This course covers networking, data persistence, and location information utilization, which are commonly implemented in Android apps. For networking, Retrofit, Volley, and Glide APIs are introduced, and data persistence techniques such as SQLite, SharedPreferences, and Files are learned. This course covers the following nine modules in sequence: - Storing in a database - Storing in a file - Storing in a shared preference - Doit practice - Building an improved to-do list app - Retrieving smartphone information - HTTP communication - Doit practice - Building a news app - Obtaining user location - Doit practice - Building a Google Maps app. Databases, files, and SharedPreferences are all frequently used persistence techniques. Networking using Retrofit is essential.
