An Introduction to Developer Employment for Non-Majors

This is an introductory course for starting a career as a developer. Unless you plan on staying in only one profession for your entire life, I highly recommend giving development a try at least once! It doesn't matter if you're a non-major or currently working in a different field. As someone who went from "selling rice to becoming a developer," I will help you!

  • hello.
    This is Kim Byung-wook :)

It's been a while since I posted anything (I'm going to try posting more frequently through this communication channel!)

There was a lot of really good news last week,
I am writing this with a happy heart.

Wow!! Last week alone, I got a call from 3 people saying they got a job.

I feel so grateful and rewarded when I receive contact like this.

The company name when the company was first established in the old days
    It was FABL (FABL Corporation).

You may be wondering what company name that is, but it is an abbreviation for For A Better Life.
It was a company with a vision to give people a better life.

I am an action that gives someone a better life.
    I guess it felt rewarding.

When I was running a rice shop, I wanted to give people a healthy life through healthy rice.
As a result of my hard work at the rice shop, I was able to provide a better life to the 2,000 customers around me.

But on the contrary, I thought I wanted to have an impact on a bigger scale.
As I was looking for ways to do that, software businesses caught my eye. Instagram, Airbnb, Uber, etc.
So, I felt that I needed to study development on my own to get into the software business.
I took on the challenge of becoming a developer.

And I've been thinking a lot about what kind of help I can give now, given my current situation.
That's how the "Introduction to Developer Employment" class came to be.
I hope that others will not have to go through the trials and errors that I experienced while preparing to become a developer as a non-major.
I started the class with that in mind.

We answer each and every question that comes up on Infraon with great diligence.
We will contact you separately after work for inquiries received in the open chat room, and if necessary, we will provide telephone consultation.
I worked it out. (That's why I think I always had phone consultations on my way home from work.)

And the fruits of that labor are beginning to come.

Just last week, I had 3 people contact me who had found jobs!
(Congratulations to Seung*, Hye*, and Jin*.)

It was such a joyous event, as if it were my own.
I feel like I really get a lot of reward from times like this.

There are still many people who haven't received the results yet,
Whatever the outcome, quitting what you have been doing and taking on a new challenge is a great thing in itself.
You are truly amazing, and I want to support you.

You will hear more concerns and criticism from those around you than support.
    Me too.

Even if the result is failure, the person who does not challenge will defeat the person who did.
I don't think I have the right to curse.

Just so you don't feel ashamed of yourself
I think that if you try your best, that alone will be of great help in living.

While studying, if you want to check if you are going in the right direction,
Please feel free to contact us anytime if you have any questions.

We will really do our best to help you until you get a job!
You really don't have to feel burdened. Instead, if you get a job, you can buy me a meal. Hehe.
(If this continues, I wonder if I will be able to eat rice every day someday... I look forward to it)

The weather has gotten a lot colder.
Then, do your best today too!

  • hello.
    This is Kim Byung-wook 🙂
    It's been a while.
The weather has gotten so hot.
It's been almost a year since I started taking the de-ing class.
It's been three months since I started taking Infraon classes.

Actually, there are already some people working as developers.
Many people ask questions when applying for a job at a company.

To those who contact me directly,
I told you a secret tip that only I knew that would triple your chances of passing the job application process.
I think this is good information to know first, so I would like to share it with my students.
(I actually think that just hearing this will be of great help to you when you apply for a job at another company in the future!)
If you are preparing to become a new developer,
I know how big of a mindset you start with.
I sincerely hope that this video will be of some help to you.
This video is also for my friends who studied with me.
This is a great tip that I didn't tell you about! I hope you'll definitely take note of it :)
If you have any questions while preparing, please feel free to contact us at any time.
Please feel free to contact me. (Please pass quickly and buy me a meal! Haha)
I hope to see you again next time as a developer with a better look.
    I look forward to it.
The weather is hot. Even on a day like this, you are studying development.
    I sincerely support you all.
    thank you

  • Hello. I am Kim Byeong-wook, who taught the introductory course on getting a job as a developer.

I have been teaching at Tal-ing for a long time, but filming it has not been easy.

Above all, I was very disappointed that I could not see the students' facial expressions during class and could not provide additional explanations.

I also started out as a developer without knowing anything, so I spent two months feeling lost.

Those were difficult times, so much so that I don't even want to recall them.

Through this class, I really hope that you won't have to go through the same trial and error that I did.

If you've decided to start out as a developer, I hope you find a job as quickly as possible and achieve great results.

If there is anything you do not understand during class or if you have any questions while preparing to become a developer,

Feel free to ask questions anytime. I'll try to answer as quickly as possible :)

    thank you
