I took this course because I am an experienced person but it is my first time with Python and crawling. I think it was one of the top 3 programming courses I have ever taken. I think liberal arts programmers are better at explaining things... I think it would be easier to memorize if they gave specific examples of why this technology is necessary. I feel sorry for the contents that were not covered (DB, server side), but it is understandable if you think of it as a course focused on beginners in programming and crawling. I look forward to other good intermediate courses. I am also looking forward to the course on Django and DB-linked applications.
Hello. Thank you for saying that I am in the top 3 in terms of delivery. However, I personally feel a bit disappointed that you gave me a 4. In addition, each lecture focuses on the part that the students want to learn, and we try to structure it so that they can learn their goals as quickly and effectively as possible. So this lecture focuses on crawling and the technologies needed for it so that beginners/entry-level users can learn crawling effectively. DB and server are completely different topics from this lecture. I think it would be better to cover these parts in other lectures. Thank you.
I think you were upset that I gave you 4 points, so I'll add the reason why I gave you 1 point less. 1. Based on what you said in the course review, this course seems more useful for general office workers or planners who collect data, as you mentioned during the course, rather than beginners. And you developed using Anaconda Jupyter Note, but for beginners and beginners, a lighter and easier-to-install IDE would be better. 2. I left a question about copyright related to crawling on the Q&A board. What I actually wanted to say was that while other crawling courses clearly explain robot.txt and move on, the instructor didn't say a word about it, and it was unfortunate that he didn't clearly mention that there could be legal sanctions if you posted crawled information. Since this course focuses on crawling, I hope you cover these basic contents in additional lectures.
I understand your words and will consider them. Let me explain a little more. Each lecture focuses on different types of students depending on the lecture objectives. Since there are so many different people taking the course, it is impossible to satisfy everyone. This lecture focuses on Python basics and crawling basics. It is aimed at non-majors, beginner developers, and even developers who do not have the concept of Python and crawling. In light of the above objectives, teaching IDEs that are only needed in advanced courses to those who want to learn Python and crawling basics as easy, dealing with legal issues, explaining robot.txt in detail to those who are not familiar with servers, server technology, and even explaining DBs can be confusing to most students. I think it would be better to cover these parts at an intermediate or higher level after they are more familiar with the basic level. For example, IDEs will be explained in the next lecture, Selenium/Scrapy. I would appreciate it if you could consider this part a little more positively.
