Since you said it was for non-majors, rather than trying to understand everything through this lecture, If you focus on 'knowing' that you can do ~~ and use ~~ with VBA, I think you will be able to finish it as a satisfactory lecture. It was a regrettable lecture that the pace in the beginning did not last all the way.
